@snobbishbookworm Boys being boys.
Fawful looked over at the other, before looking back up at the sky.
“Don’t really know much about stars, really. Never been my area of expertise.”
Talk about Klug! (Snobbishbookworm)
“Sure? I think Glasses already talks about himself plenty, but... alright.”
“Let’s see, um... well, he wears glasses. He’s the only one in our class who does besides Teacher, but his are more normal-sized while Teacher’s are super tiny, and... oh wait, I guess you meant what he’s like on the inside, right?”
“Well... everyone says he’s mean, and they’re... kinda not wrong? He says hurtful things sometimes and he’s pretty harsh, especially when it’s about studying and other school-related things. I guess that’s why a lot of people at school don’t like him...“
“But I don’t think he’s actually a mean person. He tutors people all the time even when he doesn’t have to, and sometimes he helps out around the library after school. He’s really nice, but he’s sort of like... one of those people who acts mean to try and hide how nice they are. If that makes sense...”
@snobbishbookworm Klug omg
Fawful had offered to help Klug clean out some old supplies. Nothing much mind you, even if he would find it useful and had a small (okay not really that small) pile of keepers going. At the sound of the crash, he snapped his head in the direction of where the noise came from, noticing the shattered glass.
“Shit- We should probably go grab a broom or something-” He muttered, only to seize up when he felt Klug thread their hands together. Slowly, he re-met Klug’s gaze, tilting his head at Klug’s question.
“No, half the time you’re actually insulting me before I spend the next minute and a half kicking your ass,” He remarked, raising an eyebrow. The scientist raised an eyebrow, trying to hide the faint shade of blue from the supposed-compliment. “Mind telling me where this is coming from?”

“Mmm...”
Sig mumbled a vaguely affirmative sound, knowing full well that even if he did run into something, it probably wouldn’t hurt him too much. Besides, he trusted Klug not to let that happen anyway, as attentive and on-top-of-things as the guy always was.
Giving directions home, on the other hand... that was a different story entirely. His house was on the outskirts of town, a fair distance away from the central, more populated areas. And being the spacey, absentminded kid he was, his last attempt to lead a classmate there while sleep-deprived had ended with him and Lidelle spending half of that night lost in the nearby forest.
They made it out alive, but... suffice it to say that the Nahe Forest is a very scary place at night.
“Uhh... is it okay to stay over? I think... s’probly better if we do that, if you’re okay with it... I can still walk, but I can’t directions right now...”
@snobbishbookworm Adult Shenanigans Time!
Klug had woken up with his vision fuzzy and his head spinning. All he could think was that he had gotten hit on the head with something, but he couldn’t remember it. After a while, he realized he couldn’t remember anything, not even the person currently shaking him and stressing over him. The young man sighed and ran a hand through his hair, noting the hat on the floor and the strange wizard-robe-like clothes he was wearing. He looked back up st the stranger in confusion.
“Um, no… Should I?”
The inventor seemed more visibly stressed by this, running his gloved hands through multi-colored hair, a dark purple to pink fade from a magic accident. The problem at hand was entirely an accident, a slip of hand and tongue for him. Readjusting his glasses, he blinked owlishly at Klug.
“Yes, you should, considering we’ve known each other for years!”
“What are you doing still up?” (Snobbishbookworm)
Sig had never stayed at the library for this long before. If he’d been more awake, he wouldn’t have been surprised to see Klug here this late at night, but it was kind of hard for anyone not to jump when someone else’s voice suddenly yanked them out of a drowsy stupor.
“mgHuh? Oh... hi, Glasses. I um... m’just readin’ some... uhh...”
If his tiredness wasn’t clear enough in his expression, it was clear in the way he struggled to form coherent statements, or even recall which words mean what.
“... Book... this one. M’tryin to learn stuff from it...”
He pointed down at the open book in front of him, which just so happened to be the entomology encyclopedia that Klug had gotten him for Christmas. Also on the desk were several different dictionaries and thesauruses, in various states of being looked through.

“...?”
Sig is still completely clueless about this. What’s so special that someone can’t talk about it with a good friend? And why is Klug turning so red over it?
After thinking it over for a bit, Sig offers the only reasonable solution that came to his mind.
“You know... you can use fancy scholer-ly words if normal words aren’t enough. I don’t mind. I can’t promise I’ll understand ‘em all, but I’ll try to follow as much as I can...“
Their hands are still touching, and unlike his classmate, Sig doesn’t seem to have any problem with that.
Oh. Oh Klug. Oh dear you shouldn’t enable him to do this. @snobbishbookworm
Oh, oh so this kid honestly thought he’d be an easy fight? Oh how hilarious, he thought it was! After all, he didn’t make it all the way to the end to be considered an easy fight.
“Is that so? Well, I suppose I should make my own introduction,” Snapping his fingers, Fawful summoned an orb of darkness. It stung a little, but it was all worth the flair as he threw it, “Fawful Gracobitz, Inventor and Mage.”
