The Fun Gang all went to Mr Puffy's office and gave a few knocks on the door. No answer. Susie knocks harder, no answer.
"I.. don't think he's in his room." Ralsei says, sheepishly
"[Darn] it!" Susie says, punching the door, the door getting cracked on impact.
"Let's ask around." Kris says.
"Fine." Susie grumbles, going to stand behind Kris. Ralsei follows Susie.
They first ask shopkeepers, who are taking their break, discussing who takes over the shop next, a few Kneados, some Snoobs, and a Gastroputta. "Have you tried hisssss room?" a Snoob asks
"Yes, that's why we're asking!" Susie huffs, already getting impatient.
"I did not see him in the bar." one of the Kneados says.
Kris and Ralsei thank the shopkeepers and keep looking around, before noticing a darkener that haven't seen in a long time; a Ponman. The Ponman is made from black painted wood, and seems to have noticed the gang. The Fun Gang approach.
"Do you know where Mr Puffy is?" Kris questions
The Dark Ponman turns and shoots a gray bullet in the direction of the Supply Room. the bullet dissipates in a puff of smoke upon contact with the door.
"In the supply closet?" Ralsei asks, to confirm
The Dark Ponman nods.
"Thank you!" Ralsei says, as the Dark Ponman continues towards the stairs to the bar.
Kris pats their pocket. "...[Jerk] stole half my Dark Dollars."
A pair of grumbling is heard from the drawing corner, a pair of red and gold Pippins seem to have overheard. "Seven!" they both shout, as the Dark Ponman starts moving significantly faster, and the Pippins start giving chase.
"Should we go after him?" Susie questions
"He's going down to the bar, we chase him after we tell Mr Puffy where we're going." Ralsei says. "Also those Pippins look like they've been through this before."

GOD MY CARPAL TUNNEL HATED ME WHILE WORKING ON THIS ENTIRE THING!! Anyway, this is old stuff but I really wanted to finish it cause I put my everything into this.
The ✨plot✨ behind this is based off the He-Man and DC comic crossover where Dark Orko gets yeeted to who the fuck knows where. I like to think the Overlords of Trolla found him and went “hey let’s just turn you back to normal now that you’ve been powered down”.

I wanted to put this at the tail end of the last installment, but then I realized that them noting the island's barrier pearls was a better ending, and having this moment between them would've been too jarring.
The sibling-like dynamic between Arkia and Snoob is fun. :)
Anyway, now that Snoob had a good laugh, let's get back to business:

If you're wondering why I didn't name him 'Gorpo', that's taken by the Unnamed One, who does factor into this tale... indirectly through the Unnamed Order, but still.
Little headcanon that Trollans identify each other through sensing individual magic signatures, and they automatically recognize their parents at birth, thanks to being made by their combined magic. Might as well say that Orko never referred to Montork as "Dad" because of this, he knows that's his uncle, even if he does see him as a father.
Still, can't help but wonder about the man who sired him.
