A proud moment for @team_hippieinhills and a confidence booster for all the local Himalayan Youth; the recently conducted Snow marathon at an altitude of 10,000 feet in Lahaul, Himachal Pradesh was an incredible feather in the cap for us. Bagging 2 Golds (by our girls) and 1 Silver + 5th Position (by our boys) in the 10 kms segment of the marathon (and mind you this was done with ZERO preparation and NO past experience of running whatsoever), this first-ever performance by @team_hippieinhills is just a proof of the immense potential our local youth holds. Competing with the best of athletes, this was no mere feat but a celebration in its true essence. Given an opportunity and right guidance they can rub their shoulders with the top athletes from around the globe.
