[Ed is very keen on manipulating others. He will tell them what they want to hear, especially when it comes to their work, their image etc. It’s a skill even he is surprised to have, given how he is not good with interpreting emotions...But he is rather good at patiently studying others, finding their motivations, their habits, all things he can use to his advantage. Now that doesn’t mean he is going to do anything to hurt them, per se, but rather to convince them to do something he wants. All that being said, Ed never manipulates people he actually cares about and people that care about him too. He rarely even knows how to handle it, when someone shows affection towards him without something to gain, so he is too taken aback to even try to do such a thing. And...of course, he doesn’t want to. Depending on the situation, he might try seeming cold and distant, to show that he is still the villain he wants to be, but...he is rarely successful]

[a little PSA about the mun: I am not very good with changes. I get really stressed & low moods before and after the change in my life happens. It doesn’t matter if the change is good or bad, I still get like that. And when that happens, I am not always in the right place to interact with people OOC or write, so I might be less online when that happens. I usually give people the heads-up, but I thought to make a separate post about it to explain a bit more, to anyone that cares (about my occasional mood shifts and absences). That being said, sometimes I much prefer distractions, so don’t stop yourself from sending something for my muses (or have a small interactions) and sometimes I might even ask for distraction, or just message me.
