HOW IS IT 0530

this night got away from me and I don’t know how.

That wasn’t very intentional of me. But I do have clean laundry, groceries, and homemade minestrone soup in the fridge, so there’s that. And I showered, too.

But I didn’t even wash my hair! Where did the time go?

BASTARD!

Soba ran outside when I was letting Momo in! He is, obviously, a black cat. It is, also obviously, dark outside. Luckily for me, after he (romped? patrolled? skulked?) through the yard for a couple minutes, he returned to the patio, puffed up to twice his normal size, and made only a cursory attempt at biting me when I picked him up.

(I’m only posting this to give my heart rate a chance to come down before bed)

He’s safe inside now, giving me airplane ears because he thinks I’m gonna pick him up again.

How can I be expected to go to work under these circumstances?

This is the face of a bastard who attacked my arm unprovoked, and when I called him out on it, launched himself up and flipped a bitch in midair to get himself as far away from the scene of the crime as possible in a single bound.

This type of thing is an everyday occurrence with Soba, and I’m glad he’s so ridiculous because it’s entertaining, but dude. Does this bastard ever run out of ideas?

I went to the store! This time I wore clothes *over* my jammies because it’s still “insult to all living beings” cold outside.

I got the Christmas decorations put away, too.

And I showered.

And I also rotted in the chair with Soba on my lap for 5 hours, which whether I needed it or not, I was powerless to resist.

[BIG CRASH] 💥 O.o

Soba just knocked over the stack of empty boxes that I’d meticulously stacked up and organized a few weeks ago so I could vacuum; I should have broken them down and didn’t. Now he has a little box playground all over the floor. I can’t even be mad. Actually I can’t even bring myself to care, but either way, well played, Soba.

Picking that up will be tonight’s problem.
