had a terrifying nightmare that the world moved on for ten months but I couldn't remember anything. the pandemic was still going and large households had been split up to help reduce the spread (bc of course shutting down the economy just wasn't an option).

I couldn't find big sis anywhere. some rooms were set up but boxes were everywhere #I thought we must've been back in texas but that didn't make sense and base housing looks the same everywhere #I don't know why or how we moved there bc mum's retired but irl she has been called back twice #I think the housing was like a special vet connection benefit due to the splitting up households #anyway I was panicking and I kept telling myself to wake up. lucid dreaming is usually rly easy for me but days passed and I was still there #everyone was v concerned what was wrong w me bc I kept crying abt how I didn't remember how we got there #I had my own room w a half bath that was a nice spot to cry in #I was so tired that I couldn't think clearly so when I finally could remember to check my phone I panicked again that I'd abandoned everyone #I didn't think of my job but I was scared I'd ghosted opal and jorge and lucy #I was scrolling thru my call log and texts and was horrified that I'd been active and not in a coma bc I couldn't remember anything #jorge met some dude named zeke and I broke down sobbing that I'd missed out on an exciting part of his life #mum came to check on me and was disgusted by the fact I was using my sleeve to wipe snot #it was around that point that I started waking up #I don't know what triggered me to leave but I'm still shaking bc it was late october #I missed my baby brother's birthday #I missed the move entirely #I missed whatever happened to my oldest sibling #I tried so hard to remember the last month I could but I couldn't be sure I thought maybe I remembered april?#and then I actually woke up and checked my phone and it's january #opal sent selfies for me to wake up to and I texted jorge and he said I can't get rid of him even if I don't remember #and I roasted lucy this morning over a meme #and I have never been so grateful to hear my grandparents fighting or big sis snore #jorge chronicles #yeah this is about opal
