I’ve been tagged by @softclary and am taking a break from Petrarch/Italian humanism/defining The Middle Ages so WHY NOT. I’ve no idea how this tag works and don’t really want to think up 11 questions so I’ll just answer the ones here. 

would you be more likely to bake muffins, cake, or biscuits? Cake I suppose, I did used to try to bake muffins sometimes but they’d always turn out to be variations of weird/bad bread.

choose a word you like/think represents you from another language. why? voorpret Dutch for ‘pre-fun’, the sense of enjoyment before before a party of event takes place. Because anticipation is always better than the actual thing. 

how do you decorate your room? There’s a bookshelf, a map of Australia, some posters, postcards, calendars, a floor lamp, my desk, and a chair with too many clothes on it. 

recommend a fic. it has been far too long since I read any, but I remember a few choice Dramoine ones that I can’t find anymore for the life of me. 

what design do you really want on a hoodie? I wouldn’t mind a dark grey with: plain in the front, and a massive eye on the bad.

what mythical creature would you like as a pet? a phoenix so I could spontaneously combust and then ASCEND FROM MY OWN ASHES BETTER THAN EVER.

tell me about the last book you read. Louise O’Neill’s ‘Asking for It’. It was a fictional exploration and pretty confronting exploration of rape culture. Really interesting, not for the faint hearted.

when do you usually eat dinner? When The Project is on (haha) so around about 6:30-7:30pm.

which fandom’s characters would you most like to see in a sitcom? I don’t understand the question.

are you a summer or winter person? autumn/spring... 

are you saving up for anything right now? if so, what? half-heartedly saving up for exchange kind of but not really

i dunno man like i get it people are probably tired of seeing annoying dc fan posts, just like i am with marvel and im sorry if i sounded really rude in my reply but i was legit just making a bit of a shitpost? not even against civil war, every marvel movie that comes out is like that. its funny honestly, almost EVERY blog no matter their url/icon/content will post the movie and im like ????

when i was younger i stubbed my little toe and i still have a black mark on it

i really love cold weather. i’m currently planning on going down to tasmania in winter just so i can have some colder weather

i’m currently in class at the moment (it’s a 3 hour lecture on engineering logistics systems and it’s very boring) and i’m sitting right at the back so i can do other work (and not do work)

i’m really bad time management, like i always leave things until the last minute (esp uni work but somehow i always manage to submit it)

i’m kind of considering dying my hair another colour than green next, but i don’t know what

I’m a hoarder of digital content. I have so many books in epub files and digital comics that I haven’t read yet

i dropped put of music in year 12 bc with my B+ i was in the bottom 5 of the grade

i have a terrible immune system and somehow i thought being a nurse was a good idea

i dont know how to dress for cool-ish weather. Even when it’s seven degrees out, you’ll catch me wearing shorts, sandals, a thin t shirt and a big ass jacket. what the fuck is layering?

i’m currently running up a fever and i’m so disappointed in myself.

1. when I was little I taught myself how to say the entire alphabet backwards bc I saw someone do it on tv and I thought “that’s so cool”

2. I’m not too great at pronouncing my consonants? especially in the middle of words I’ve been told it’s like a regional accent thing but my words are just all vowels

3. in the second grade a boy bought me a stuffed elephant for valentine’s day and I was in love with him for the next two years

4. I graduate in like twenty one days :o

5.I’ll be going into premed in the fall!!
