what i noticed (and loved) about the run of lovely runner is it does not bank much on the angst or having one-sided struggles. you feel a sad cliffhanger on one episode or week, then you see the other side on the next. in episode one you see im sol struggling alone with the loss of sunjae and seeing him again after the time slip, then the next ep we see after all these years, sunjae is actually down bad for sol. one episode you feel disappointed you have to wait for six days, the next week it ends with a happy note that will leave you giddy for days. most of us hated how episode 9 went, the next episode we feel swooned over sunjae's confession. the rollercoaster we feel for this drama episode by episode always ends up with a reassurance that soljae will still come back to each other no matter what. this, besides hyeyoon & wooseok's perfect chemistry and portrayal, is what makes it a perfect romcom for this generation. ><

(and i hope i don't jinx it, i swear to God if we get a shitty barrier to make them break up--)
