Hope this is a safe space but it regards mods and modders and myself so probably not.

I WANT TO PREFACE THIS by saying that I use mods EXTENSIVELY look at my character list. They cannot all exist in the perfect world in this game. I love mods.

But I played in a time long before them. And I played console. And I wrote fanfiction and I grew and I roleplayed. And I've come to realize. We've all really become... so very lazy. We've taken mods and plug-ins like mare for granted for so long and so much. That when mare fell, I even thought I would retire Antares because he could not be seen for how he really was. So many people around me retired their characters and their venues. And for what???

I don't know. I grew to come to call spaces as immersive, and are they only so because you can see someone wearing a furred cape? Or bruised knuckles, or beard or leather shoes or cravat and button up? Or is it immersive because we stretch our comfort zones and write what we want to see?

When mare went down, I was determined to never use a replacement. Not only because I wanted to give so much attention to the people around me, to give them my theater and my words and my skills but because it was Yoship's wish right?

Ah man, but I failed. I failed out of frustration. I failed and fell to a synchronous plug in because I kept running into misunderstandings and assumptions that I was using one, so I would see certain things, which I could not because I only functioned on PCPs at the time.

Weapons not out versus out.

It happened twice at a venue I worked at. The most egregious being my confrontation of some gents I thought weren't adhering to venue rules by havjng weapons out. They'd taken them of in glamourer, but not vanilla. And when I messaged them that thats not what we were were seeing. Because two of us were PCP only, they... I believe, left the server shortly after.

I dunno.

It just felt to me... people assumed you used mods, and used synchronous plug ins and dealt with you accordingly. And it just felt so poor. So no matter what, when I interact with people, you're going to get paragraphs. There will be details, hair color, eye color, physical ticks, and flared capes and ruffled fur and sharp jaw lines.

Crucify me if you want. I'm not saying mods and plug-ins are bad. Just that I think we lost track of immersion for synchronous'.

Anyways.

I want everyone to have the same experience when rping in game with me. The flair for the dramatic, the description of food and drink and rustling clothes... I was there to make a show, to be a service. Let me make it worth your night.

My sibling made me a sketchbook for my birthday and they challenged me to finish it before i leave in december and to fill it with bad drawings - and that means i've been freed to do fun experiments and "what if it looks bad-- its allowed to be bad. I’m serious guys - maybe it’s my very wholesome algorithm (or that part of the internet is more wholesome than most…probably not 😅), but all of the stuff under that hashtag that floats onto my feed once in a while under the “Submas” hashtag is like very innocent, brotherly affection kind of stuff (hand-holding, hugs, maybe a chaste forehead kiss?) that I often cannot tell the difference.

I wasn’t aware that you can block hashtags, though - you learn something new everyday. ⭐️🌈

I’m gonna take this moment to address something that’s been bothering me for a while now, as I get a lot of Asks like “so-and-so’s a blankshipper” or “they’re friends with a blankshipper / spoken kindly to blankshippers”.

I think I have a relatively short list of people that I hate, & have fairly specific dealbreakers. It’s mostly stuff like abuse or bullying / enabling said abuse / toxic behavior / anything that is not absolute zero tolerance to SA (especially with children) / people who pretend to be good people when they are anything but / just about anything under the “Red Hat” umbrella / etc.

There are plenty of people who do fit those categories out there (some checking ALL of those boxes, earning themselves a spot on my hate list), though there doesn’t seem to be lot of them here, or at least follow me, from what I’ve seen?

Current obsession - still, and after so, so many months, Severance. If I'm being really honest, I will just out myself and say gemmark because what a game-changer, what a mindblowing, haunting love story. Not a day goes by without thinking about them, I am endlessly inspired by them and the horrors they endured :')

Last search - urban dictionary because I'm an old soul deep down and slang just flies over my radar (both in english and my native tongue), so I try to keep up with the cool kids

Looking forward to - my driving test today, I am also naturally shitting my pants scared because I've failed 5 times already and I don't want to go back to driving school and I'm too old for this shit
