All the colors and textures of harvest have shown up in a big way. I’ve spoken of the aromas of the earth & soil in the air, now melding with a combination of green and dried grape leaves. The hint of fresh grape juice also in the air before being hit with the full-blown fermentation aromas arriving early in the Winery, my heart now quickening in anticipation of the flurry.
