As someone who is not a native english speaker, I went on a quest to find out what the german dub of the Witcher sounded like. (Since I had only watched the original english version so far) Lemme tell you about the roller coaster of revelations that was yesterday afternoon...

Ofc I wanted to know what my faves Cal and Eist sounded like in their assigned german voices. So I watched basically all their scenes again in german and googled the names of their voice actors...

First revelation :

Calanthe and Cora Crowley from Downton Abbey share the same german voice... let that sink in!

sound exactly the same if you watch the german dub of Downton Abbey and The Witcher ...

Oh but there is more...

Second revelation :

Eist shares a voice with Sherlock Holmes (BBC Sherlock) and Thor... yes, you heard me correctly!

Plus this dude's name is Tommy Morgenstern and he also voices Son-Goku from Dragon Ball Z in the german version
