The way the locks are drawn makes them look more like human hair rather than the cartoony locks, spikes and buns Sonic game characters has, but thanks to it having the same color as the main color of the fur and not being too fussy it stays true to the style I think. While eyes are very rather similar to Tails I find the rest of the design to be unique enough to not let it distract me. I really appreciate it when I can tell what animal a Sonic character is despite the cartoony style and this definitely has characteristics I associates with dogs. The artist also deserves mayor props for staying so close to the Sonic Channel style.
