A song that reminds me of Rouge:

D City Rock!

I was looking thru my Rouge playlist, and almost all of them were about Knuckles except this one (oops!), and also this one is hype. I could have just picked Lady Marmalade but that is too predictable…

It’s more about Team Dark than just Rouge! Since this song is Panty and Stocking (With Garterbelt), you can guess who is who.

I really do like the synergy that comes from Team Dark, once Omega joins around Sonic Heroes time. I figure the song choice comes from my characterization that Rouge is more of the leader than Shadow, and that her energy thinly blankets everyone: that go-getter, seductress energy that is free and independent from even the hand-wringing details of the law. Considering both Shadow and Omega care just as much about it, anyway!

Ironically, they’re hired by the military, but the antihero personas of Team Dark always shine through! Anarchy!

A song that reminds me of Sonitails:

The choice came from my Tails character playlist, but I definitely consider it an addition to the playlist as a shipping song.

This song makes me think of one of the many conceptualizations of Tails and Sonic first meeting. It’s a mix of Sonic X and my own speculation, where Tails lives in a forest community and is shunned for his gadgetry, mainly because the source of it comes from Dr. Eggman himself (considering as forest animals, they wouldn’t take to making copper wire, right?).

Sonic will help his community from time to time, like a mysterious angel that passes through. Tails caught Sonic at a point where the hedgehog could talk to him briefly, and those words invaded his brain because it was the validation that he’s always wanted for his talents! That’s where the song No Logic sort of fills this space where Tails is…basically having an existential crisis between his loyalty to his community, and his newfound validation from Sonic.

The last line of this song has always confused me, though.
