sophia is absolutely smitten for alicia. every little thing alicia does makes sophia fall so hard. she doesn't get it. the few days where alicia walks around their shared apartment in a big shirt that belongs to sophia and a pair of sleep shorts is when, to sophia, she's looking absolutely adorable. espically when she stops by sophia, kisses her cheek, mumbles " i love you " against her cheek, then heads to the kitchen to cook something for the both of them. gosh. sophia loves alicia's cooking. it's always indescribably amazing. the shorter girl loved cooking which got her her job at a high end restaurant. she could cook anything in the world. if they barely have anything in the cupboards, alicia will somehow figure out how to make an amazing dish made for two. sophia admires that about her. there's been many times where sophia would come home to warm food a happily stuffed alicia. always something she looks forward to seeing. when she gets home, its her turn to walk by alicia, kiss her cheek, mumble " i love you " against her cheek, then head to their room to change. every time sophia comes back, alicia is a giggly mess. the ginger would pull the brunette down and place kisses all over her face just to get a giggly sophia. they'd part after alicia placed one final kiss on her adorable girlfriend's lips. their little routine is something to never forget.

sophia dated alicia for four months before she fell head over heels for the book girl she grew to learn. it takes her forever and that's okay, but every day got harder for her in those two months because she was scared she would never catch feelings. boy was sophia's brain wrong. those first two months were slow, but it made sophia start to admire every little thing that alicia did. from the smallest things to the biggest things. you could say sophia was alicia's biggest admirer. faking your love for four months is easier said then done. sophia didnt like lying to alicia only because the girl was sweet and always deserved the best. from the best clothes to the best girlfriend. sophia just didnt fit that role exactly. during those four months, feelings slowly started coming around which kinda shocked sophia. she wasn't expecting to feel butterflies when she'd wake up with alicia wrapped up in her arms after they had a sleepover. she didnt expect to find herself wanting to cry because of how ethereal alicia was when she wore sophia's work shirt instead of her own to go to work. she really didnt expect to swallow a squeal when alicia walked out of their shared room looking like a goddess just for their date night, sure, the excitement was normal, but sophia has never felt that first hand. it was a slow process, but it was something sophia looked forward to processing. ______________________________________ on august 22nd, there was something about alicia that made sophia cover her face with a pillow and squeal into it so she wouldn't look like a dork in front of her girlfriend. the cutie, very much so well known as alicia, walked out of their shared room in a big shirt that clearly belonged to sophia. her hair was messy. her right cheek was red from pushing her cheek into the pillow. her eyes were half closed. she looked like an angel to sophia. when she walked over to her slightly taller girlfriend, she fell into her lap and cuddled into her, alicia's cute little freckled face smushed up in sophia's chest. it made sophia smile and try to flatten alicia's bed head. " come back to bed~ its cold without you~ " alicia really did resemble a pouting puppy. it made sophia giggle as he pinched her tired girlfriend's cheek. " if i go back to bed with you, i'll surely fall back asleep and won't go to work " alicia replied with a shrug as she closed her eyes and let out a tiny yawn. sophia was done for already.

alicia has this cute little habit where when she wants her way, her cheeks puff out and her nose scrunches up a bit. sophia always kisses her which isnt what alicia wants, but its okay. (alicia has really soft lips) on one of their date nights, they went to a carnival together since it was finally in town. alicia was dead set on winning sophia a cute pink kitten plush with butterfly wings while the taller girl was using the bathroom. of course, nothing went well and sophia came back to a pouting alicia. it was cute so sophia kisses alicia's cheek. alicia wasnt happy whatsoever. she wanted to be cute for her girlfriend! " soph! how am i supposed to be a good girlfriend if i cant even win you a tiny cat? " sophia laughed and kissed her temple again " you're already amazing whether or not you win me a cat " alicia still wasnt satisfied. she was going to win a plush for her drop dead gorgeous girlfriend one way or another. even if she had to sell a body part, she'd do it. while they were eating some cotton candy and walking around, alicia pouted again. it caught sophia's attention " everything okay darling? " alicia looked over , her cheeks puffing a bit " no! im lacking good girlfriend skills! " sophia shook her head, a smile on her face " okay, if thats the case, lets go win a prize so you can redeem yourself as a good girlfriend? " alicia beamed, leaning in to kiss sophia's lips quickly. they tasted sweet like the cotton candy they were sharing. then sophia's free hand was grabbed and they were heading to a basketball game. to no one's surprise, alicia didnt win a prize. but sophia did. which got them to walk around the fair grounds holding onto a light blue whale with a little black pirate's hat on its head. alicia was happy and all, actually she was so so happy, but she still wanted to win a prize for sophia. the struggle of being bad at games, you cant win prizes for your cute girlfriend. when sophia went and got them food, it was time for alicia to do what shes been trying to do this whole time. she actually ran off to that one with the pink kitten plush. took her awhile, but guess what? alicia won the prize she was trying so hard get. alicia called sophia and told her to meet her by the ferris wheel. once they were both there, alicia handed sophia the plush and watched as the taller girl giggled and held it close. " you're silly ali " alicia shrugged, the smile never leaving her face.

one day, alicia got her nails done. sophia, of course, was intrigued since everything the shorter girl did fascinated sophia. but the nails? it amazed sophia. alicia got home that night and right away somehow, sophia noticed that alicia had her nails done. alicia calls sophia her little cat because of how fast sophia notices things. in this moment, sophia jumped up and went to her girlfriend and held her hands, inspecting her nails.   already, alicia had some pretty long-ish nails since she loved growing them out and painting them herself, but i guess it was time to treat herself. alicia's nails were now short acrylic and to sophia, this was new. sophia knew alicia when she had long nails only and with these new nails, they were shorter. it was weird. " your nails are gone ! " alicia giggled and pinched sophia's cheek gently " they had to trim my nails to put the acrylic on love " for someone who didn't just lose their nails, sophia sure was devastated. it was only because when they cuddled, alicia would always card her fingers through sophia's hair which always felt good to the older girl. it always made her fall into a calm state and sometimes, she'd fall asleep. sophia held up alicia's hand and pouted " can you still tap your fingers and your nails make noise? " alicia nodded, intertwining their fingers " i made sure i kept it long enough to put you to sleep love " sophia couldn't help it. she leaned in and kissed alicia, tasting her strawberry lip gloss. alicia smiled and moved her hands through sophia's hair while sophia's hands rested on alicia's cheeks. alicia always put sophia into consideration and that was such a big deal to the brunette. having someone care for her like alicia did was endearing and boy was sophia in love. it was a fun feeling to be in love with the cutest girl ever.
