Guys I’m actually sick to my stomach over finishing the tog series, going back to KOA and reading these quotes:

Heir Of Fire review 🔥

It took me a while to read this one, i was just going in and out of a reading slump after finishing the perfection that is Crown Of Midnight.

I liked the second part "Heir of fire" more than the first part "Heir of ash", i feel like more happened in the latter which kept me entertained.

I literally can not wait for The king to die, I HATEEEE THAT MF!!!

Love Aelin as always and it was great seeing her character development and just seeing her in a new environment with new people.

Even though i love her and rowan it was a smart move to keep their relationship this way; with nothing happening between them; i feel like she’s freshly broken up with chaol and having all these issues with her powers and her kingdom that she should focus on so that was for the best.

I also liked that dorian found someone who cares for him (other than Chaol). Sorcha seemed very sweet and i was shocked when i learned about her involvement with the rebels but it made me like her even more. It’s a shame that the king had to kill her. I read somewhere that she was Dorian’s Sam and i feel like that’s so true!!.

Speaking of my poor baby Dorian, i hope whatever happens in the next book that he’ll be safe and someone helps him immediately!!! I can not bear to see him struggling because of his fuck ass dad.

Will it sound weird if i say i still don’t get the Chaol hate?😭. I know some people don’t like him because of what happened to Nehemia but she literally orchestrated her own death, and yes he should’ve told Celaena about the threat to her life but i think that wouldn’t have changed anything since Nehemia wanted to die so Celaena would "finally do something". I like him less tho, but i still like him. I wish he’ll do something useful with his knowledge of all that’s happening in the kingdom.

And isn’t it weird that the only person who was wearing the eye of Elena (Chaol) is also the only one who got out safely from that meeting with the king? Dorian had the vlag collar put on him while Aedion went to the dungeons.

In conclusion, i gave this book a 4,5/5⭐️. I liked it a lotttt, and i already started Queen Of Shadows.
