⌈ 🍑 ⌋ When the door of the bathroom opened truthfully she was afraid it might have been someone else. The party was in full swing and here she was sitting on the toilet feeling a little more than tipsy. If it wasn’t for a group of people making her feel uncomfortable then she wouldn’t be here at this moment using this bathroom as a safe haven. Seeing Josie made her sigh in relief.
“From me?” Her nose scrunched up at the woman’s words before pursed lips stretch into a half hearted grin. “I guess I’m not as lionhearted as I try to seem.”
Dramatic was one word many people would often call actresses and Jinri definitely was that ( at times, though she didn’t much care to admit this ). The person she was trying to avoid her ex and the woman who not only five minutes ago was staring a hole through Jinri’s head. She didn’t expect to see him in this crowded place but here he was right in front of her eyes. No matter how much she tried to seem adult like she still hid away like a child holding a full bottle of vodka to her chest. A bottle. Yeah she stole it but at this moment it was hers.
“Let's go” She says softly yet heard clearly through the perpetual base felt throughout the building. The woman made her way through the crowd fluidly the stench of smoke and alcohol filling her lungs with each breath. It was a relief when she finally reached the door. The door that led her to freedom and away from prying eyes. She looked over at Yang still clutching the vodka.
“Sorry we couldn’t enjoy the party. I’ve never been anxious but as of late it’s been rough.”
