I miss when we’d be working for hours and he’d be the one to herd me off to bed. I miss when I’d be tucked in and told to sleep well. I miss forcing him to go outside with me. I miss telling him allllllll about my day at school and knowing he wasn’t really listening but it didn’t matter bc he let me talk anyway and I didn’t feel like things were so bad.
