Se necesita tiempo, paciencia, curiosidad e interés para leer, es por eso que pocos lo hacen, y más cuando se requiere adentrarse en textos largos. El respeto y el amor por la lectura se refleja en ese instante en el que te emocionas por leer algo que ha sido escrito para el deleite del lector desde el placer del autor.

It takes time, patience, curiosity and interest to read, that's why few do it, and even more so when it is required to read long texts. The respect and love for reading is reflected in that instant when you get excited to read something that has been written for the reader's delight from the author's pleasure.

Lee con la mente abierta, no sólo con los ojos, así pasaran por tu cabeza las palabras sin atarse a tus cabellos… sin robarte la confianza. Leer es una labor de criterio y, para practicarlo, hay que aprenderlo, y eso se logra leyendo sin tomarse nada personal, porque, al final, la realidad es que nada ha sido escrito para nosotros. El escritor se escribe y se describe a sí mismo, nada más.

Leer es como mirar una joya dentro de un aparador; la imaginamos nuestra, soñamos con poseerla, suspiramos al anhelarla, pero lo único que podemos hacer es admirarla, porque esa joya no tiene —ni puede— tener dueño, por eso se ha puesto en exhibición, para que sea de todos y a la vez de nadie.
