Bye Bye 2014

Okay so in general, 2014 has been shit, and I'm in the same position as I was this time last year, but despite that, I actually have had some fucking amazing memories this year. First of all, it’s my fandoms that have really provided the entertainment for me this year. Like finally getting to see Sherlock series 3, that was wild, wasn’t it? And then I got to join some fantastic new fandoms that have taken over my life, like In The Flesh.

But this year, I also got to meet some of my favourite actors, like Jack Donnelly, Robert Emms, and Luke Newberry, who are all lovely. And I got to meet Mark Sheppard, which was beyond exciting for me, because I can never afford to go to any of the SPN conventions, so this was my only opportunity to meet him and it was the best thing.

There have also been some personal achievements for me this year. For starters, I finally did something about the one thing I want to do in life: writing. After years of convincing myself I was shit at it, I finally decided to join a writing course and actually get feedback. And I’ve also had two published articles this year, which is honestly mind blowing for me.

I also took part in GISHWHES for the first time ever and did a ridiculous amount of stupid things that pushed me way, way out of my comfort zone. (I wore a bikini made out of marshmallows and sang eye of the tiger in public with my bestie racheyragdoll.) There was even a day when I had a stormtrooper in my back garden, that’s a day I’ll never forget. And since one of this year’s tasks was to climb Snowdon, the awesome spaceboundcas and I actually climbed the thing! I’ve always wanted to climb a mountain but have never been able to travel to do it. It was one of the best experiences ever and I’m so glad GISHWHES gave me the opportunity to do it.

I need to mention as well that this year I had to say goodbye to my favourite book series as The Mortal Instruments came to a close. Dear TMI fandom, you guys have been awesome this year, thanks for making me laugh with all of your hilarious posts. Never stop being fabulous.

So yeah, this year hasn't been all bad. Happy New Year, tumblr, and I hope all of you have a fantastic 2015.

what do you take now?

well i still major in film and media, and i just dropped one philosophy course (seriously i'm not gonna let my GPA suffered because of it) and i haven't dropped my philosophy minor--i just sent in the request

i don't need to take another course. Four courses is still full-year course load.
