Once again saying that Tubi is great for classic film/tv enjoyers. Yes it has a massive catalogue of utter shit and has been sued for mishandling user data in the past five years but with the right precautions (you can watch without an account) it can be a great place to access some gems and peruse indie and international films you may not otherwise see. Like idk if everyone knows this but lemme just list some of the gold mines it has (note this is for US Tubi)

- Lupin series and movies, Death Note full series, Ghost in the Shell (and other classic animes)

- Metropolis (considered the last German Expressionist film - highly artistic and historical)

- The Man called Noon, Gentleman Killer (classic spaghetti westerns - haven’t seen the latter yet)

- Merlin ssn 1-5 (idk if that’s the whole series - haven’t seen it yet)

- Blue Velvet, Eraserhead (Classic David Lynch films)

- Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Ring (JP), Hellraiser, Blair Witch Project, Silence of the Lambs, and other classic horror films

- But I’m a Cheerleader (queer film - haven’t seen it yet but I’ve heard it’s good!)

- Multiple classic Scooby Doo series (not Mystery inc. as far as I can tell)

- Columbo (detective serial episodic drama)

- The Twilight Zone series and movie

- Ichi the Killer, The House that Jack Built, Martyrs (both FR and US), American Mary, Be My Cat, Thanatomorphose, and other extreme/disturbing cinema

- The Vourdalak, Hell House LLC, other modern horror that are little gems

- When the Wind Blows (pretty cool exploration of nuclear disaster, 1980s)

- Camp Camp ssn 1-4 (same as yt I think but still worth noting)

- Junkhead, The Legend of Hei, Yamasong, and other indie animated works

- also full ghost stories dub (yes that one)

- the Barbie movie and other recent blockbusters you may have missed

Anyway, on the bus I was reading through the long line of Tumblr fics for Blonco that I have saved on my phone and...
