Hi there!! I wanted to know what alchemizations you could come up with for a Knight of Breath with a pen-spearkind strife specibus? The way it works is that I imagine it functions similarly to Kanaya's lipstick, looking like a normal pen until you click the back! Then it would eject/extend into a spear! His main interest is poetry, so I thought something involving different poems / poets could be cool
Sorry this ask is so long!
oooh, an interesting weapon! unfortunately I don't know many poems or poets, but I hope these will be fine!
Pen-spearkind && The Onion, by Wisława Szymborska: Poetry Has Layers
Each time you think it's broken, a perfectly identical pen emerges from beneath the damaged shell, if a little smaller, like a russian doll. A weapon meant to last almost forever.
... && Poems, by Robert Frost: Melancholic Arsenal
A collection of pens encased within what appears to be a book cover. Each of them bears the attribute of a single poem: choose your favorite, lend them to your allies, or make a big ol' stab box!
... && The Iliad: Homer's Voice
What appears to be a weak, frail thing turns into a sturdy spear, almost more like a javelin in its size, ablaze with tales of courage and bloodshed: at last it re-enacts the legends it has endlessly told!
... || The Divine Comedy (Paradiso), by Dante Alighieri: L'Amor Che Muove Il Sole E L'Altre Stelle
Though heavy and cumbersome in its bookish appearance, once unfolded this spear shines marvelously through every peril with an almost holy glow, serving as a source of light, awe, and protection.
... || Das Abenland, by Georg Trakl: Letters From The Apocalypse
The sun sinks before a destroyed world, mankind unable to communicate with itself: all this, in a mere paper pen. But a Knight can flip its meaning upside down and use its fatalistic approach to Breathe and protect new hopes into the Universe.
... || Rerum Vulgare Fragmenta, by Francesco Petrarca: The Laurel Pen (The Poet's Spear)
A pen-shaped book that changes its current poem each day, for 366 days: the 'in-life' poems deal additional damage, the 'in-death' ones mellow down enemy attack, and the Song To The Virgin boosts all stats. The foreword returns the strife specibus to its normal stats.
