Grand Bazaar & Spice Bazaar, Istanbul, Turkey
Istanbul Day Three: Today was spent at the bazaars, around the Bosporus and in "new" Istanbul! 🇹🇷 The Grand Bazaar is like Marrakech's souk! Literally innumerable windy side streets, stalls galore selling everything you could possibly imagine, and so easy to lose track of time in - it's been described as an Aladdin's cave of treasures but it's so much more magical because it's real! 🇹🇷 The area around the Bosphorus is just a hive of activity! There were so many "amateurs" fishermen along the bridge and we could see their successes (or failures!) as we ate lunch on the bridge 😁 🇹🇷 A quick roll call of the photos: 1) Stall in the Grand Bazaar, 2) The Bosphorus, 3) Galata Tower, 4) View of Galata Tower across the Bosphorus, 5) Stall in the Spice Bazaar, 6) a floating fish restaurant (they cook freshly caught fish!), 7) Republic Monument on Taksim Square , 8) Fishing on the Bosphorus, 9) Levent, the vendor of a brilliant souvenir shop near Galata Tower, 10) Traditional cafe in the Grand Bazaar 😍 🇹🇷 #istanbul #turkey #vacation #holiday #grandbazaar #spicebazaar #bosphorus #fishing #galatatower #taksimsquare #souvenirs #instatravel #igtravel #culture #history (at Istanbul, Turkey)
Strictly coffee, tea and cocoa 😍 #spicebazaar #coffee #kahve #çay #tea #cocoa #istanbul
