My sister (chosen, not biological) Beth Patterson is a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter. She also gets frequent airplay on Doctor Demento.
Last year, she got a phone call from Christopher Guest who asked her to put together a pub band to play with him in the sequel to Spinal Tap. Now that the movie is released, she is finally allowed to talk about it. She just wrote this song called All Tapped Out, from the perspective of that fictional pub band after Nigel left for New Orleans. It is so completely brilliant and hilarious. Welcome to the Spinal Tap expanded universe:
