I took a break from what I'm working on by drawing Helli's son. His spirits reborn version! an rottmnt au by Cokoweee

It was refreshing to do, though it got me into a mythological and folklore mood (which is dangerous for me as I love mythology and spiritual stuff to my very core) and I'm going to try not the do a bunch of research and learning on it for the rest of the day

I just have a quick question-

Does your Spirits Reborn axolotl yokai sell masks made for snooted faced yokai, and perhaps snooted faced spirits?? For absolutely no reason at all (:

Not a good artist, but I think I get my point across fairly well. Took a picture of this with my phone and tinkered with it to make sure everything popped.

Also, meet my new hyper-fixation, Ninja Turtles and my OC Yamiko! I blame @cokowiii @somerandomdudelmao for the majority of it.

Yamiko is a descendant of Yamata No Orochi. She has two snake forms: the first is normal snake and the second she has 8 heads. The heads more or less share one mind, so if you cut one off it doesn’t affect her mental capacity. It’d be like cutting off an arm, kind of. Yamiko’s ancestor’s, Yamata No Orochi, bloodline was cursed and this curse manifests differently for each Yokai.

Yamiko’s is blindness, but in a way that she can only see heat. The less heat there is the dark everything becomes. However, due to her sense of smell and heat vision working together, she sees individuals (such as Yokai) in different colors. For example, Michelangelo would be an orange heat signature and Leonardo’s a dark blue. In her true form, 8 heads, she can see everything like an average person. However, to remain in her true form would scare off everyone around her. Yamiko is very friendly and enjoys making friends. She has a fondness for sweets, kids and animals, and nature. She is trained in the bow staff and naginata. Her teacher was an odd monkey Yokai who rambled on about a jade emperor making him the royal stable boy or something and eating a magic peach that made him immortal. Fearing those around her would hate her for her ancestor’s crimes, Yamiko lives alone deep in the forest where she can relax in her true form without worry of being found out. This is due to past trauma of being beaten and run out of villages while growing up.
