I just had a horrible thought!
What if something bad happened to Crowley after Good Omens and he's dead now. Aziraphale kinda lost it in his grief afterwards, and did a lot of bad things, resulting in him falling from grace and turning into a demon. He then took on a new name, one that meant a lot to him. And that's who Spn!Crowley is!

like last night I had a dream that he was hunting with Dean and Sam (obv not as King of Hell) and they found this girl who helped them out who was like in her teens and Crowley got all protective of her like a dad and when she almost died Crowley sacrificed himself to save her

I tag meta'd a bit in that last gifset of Crowley I posted, and I realized something. Naomi did kind of get a redemption thingy like he got. Think about it, Crowley was being cured of his demonic nature and regaining his humanity. He was feeling devastated by all the things he's done. And Naomi, after poking around Metatron's head, finally came to the realization that in trying to do God's work she'd lost sight of the most important thing: to love humanity above all. She was also devastated by the destruction she caused not only on Earth, but in Heaven, to her own family. The only difference between them is that Crowley lived and she didn't (or did she? we didn't see wings after all, and I'm not sure a drill to the head is enough to kill an angel. oh pleasepleaseplease come back! c'mon SPN, you brought back Abaddon for me! bring Naomi back, too!), which is kind of typical, tbh, but there ya go.

That's true, but when he played an American FBI agent on Doctor Who, his accent was pretty generic, whereas it sounded like a pretty strong New York accent in this episode. I'm just so confused, lol. We're probably going to learn a lot more about Crowley next season, so we'll see if it means anything then!
Okay but are we going to talk about how Crowley's accent changed during his "I deserve love" speech? Like I swear it went from suave British guy to New Yorker in like .01 seconds and then switched back. Was I just hearing things? What's happening?
