A post-Hogwarts dragon-tamer Betty & professor Jughead run into each at The Leaky Cauldron... & *cough* reconnect? TAKE MY MONEY. Casual uses of magic? Check. There is so much worldbuilding, characterization, & little details which are *happy sigh* so beyond perfect that I still can’t believe this exists. I’m obsessed with this story, & you will be too! The residents of Riverdale have been hit with Spring Fever, and it’s affected them in vastly different ways. Spring Fever in Riverdale - an all ship, all character inclusive springtime event will run from April 4th-19th. When Spring Fever strikes, it can have varying affects, as such, we have two separate sections of this event running with four themes each, Classic Spring and Supernatural. You are welcome to post content from any of the eight themes during the event. Take part in one or both, but we have extended the event window to accommodate! Most importantly, don’t forget to tag #riverdaleevents in your first 5 tags!
Theme 1: Spring Break, your typical Spring Break faire.
Theme 2: Flowers & Festivals, celebrate springtime; the flowers, the weather, and all the activities that come with the season.
Theme 5: At It Like Rabbits, mating of all kinds - from soulmates to heat to ABO elements, any (and all) mating goes.
Theme 6: Fantastic Beings & How to Fic Them, any supernatural being types; mermaids, vampires, seelies, werewolves, fairies, aliens, you name it.
Theme 7: Love, Sex, & Magic, sex pollen and sex magic (potions too).
Theme 8: Game Master’s Choice, anything we haven’t listed, bring your favorite supernatural elements!
Any concept, idea, or specific prompt that is applicable to a day’s theme is accepted! Make sure to 1. tag your content on tumblr with #riverdaleevents 2. indicate which theme your content is for 3. add your event fics to the SPRING FEVER IN RIVERDALE collection on AO3.

We will be accepting content for ANY Riverdale character or ship (including OCs)!

To submit work, please tag us with #riverdaleevents in the first 5 tags of your work or at @riverdale-events on your piece. We will reblog every submission here at Riverdale-Events over the course of the event. If we miss reblogging your content, send us an ask!
Be sure to indicate which theme/prompt your content is for. You can put it in your tags or on your piece, just let us know so we can reblog appropriately.
We also have an AO3 collection. AO3 has a really great tutorial on how to post to a collection! Check it out for in-depth instructions. The easiest way to join is to go straight to the SPRING FEVER IN RIVERDALE collection on AO3, and click the “Post to Collection” button. That will take you to a screen to upload your fic as normal! That button fills out the specific collection for you, so you know your work is going to the right place. Your fic will still show up under your works, and you will be listed as the author of your story.
When can I submit content until? When is the masterlist release date?
We will continue to reblog and accept Spring Fever in Riverdale content through APRIL 19TH.
We will post our masterlist on April 20th.
Posts applicable to the event, like chapter updates, will continue to be reblogged after the event wraps. However, they will not be added to the masterlist.
