I'm thinking about January and how much happier I am now. it's so funny how different things can get. I was so weighed down with fear for the future and worry for the present and longing for the past and I hated the cold and I hated not being able to drive and I hated him and I hated going to work.

Now it's almost April and the warm rain has been pouring wonderfully relentlessly for the past few days. I picked him up to get coffee and we talked about our new people and things are light and good. I saw the short film I wrote in the university theatre on Saturday. I listen to Alan Watts and gurus and read about Carl Jung and other philosophers for fun. I quit my job to teach yoga. It feels good to know I'll never go back there, not like that.

Oh man, that's a really good question anon! I'd say the lavender honey cakes were always the best! The town would have a celebration for the Spring Solstice and everyone brought their best solstice recipes.

Few weeks ago I made a fairy garden. The first photo when I brought it home (was the next day) and second photo is now. The flowers were all dead in the first photo but now they’re starting to grow and the basil is really tall.
