“Uh— May I help you, Sir? You’ve stood there for quite some time. You’re welcome to come in if you’d like.”
@hyejvng, continued from this post.
Lu Han had no idea what came over the girl. He couldn’t say that it scared him, in fact, he thought, at some point, it would come. He didn’t think he’d be right in front of her when it happened though. Something told him that she wasn’t the type to show any emotion in front of other people, except for when they angered her. And he could’ve sworn that nothing he did and/or said upset her. Or, upset her enough that she would. Lu Han was careful. If he noticed he hurt someone in any way, he was quick to apologize. He’d even apologize even if he wasn’t at fault.
“Hey—“ The florist tried to get her attention. He didn’t need it for a long, a moment probably would’ve been enough, he just needed it to ask her a question — what’s wrong. There’s a chance he wouldn’t get a straight answer, but that would be a start. Couldn’t hurt to try either. Hyejung didn’t listen though. It probably wasn’t a surprise though, her yelling masked whatever other sound was made. Also, the constant blows to his chest told him that she was infuriated, and he knew whenever people got like that there wasn’t a chance that anything he said would be heard. And if they were heard, they probably wouldn’t be understood.
Out on a limb, he reached up and grabbed both of her wrists, forcing them down to her side so she’d have to stop her constant assault on his chest. The response he got wasn’t out of the ordinary. It would make her even more upset, but he didn’t let go. It was rare for Lu Han to raise his voice, but if it got her to listen, he had reason enough to. “No. Not until you tell me what’s going on.”

He had a name. Ms. Nabi Moon, if he read it correctly. What he didn’t have was a location. He thought that the bouquet could’ve been from her, but that didn’t make any sense. Who would deliver a bouquet to a florist? And, one that he had to make for himself? It was cheap, but he couldn’t say he didn’t appreciate it if it happened. Still, he didn’t recognize the name, so it made no sense. The next scenario that he could come up with, and probably the one that made the most sense, would be that an admirer dropped the name and wanted him to deliver a bouquet to the woman. Even though the thought was nice, he would’ve liked a location. Anything, really. It would’ve made the job a lot easier to do and he wouldn’t have to spend time looking her up. Which, in his opinion, made him look creepy — and uncomfortable. Lu Han managed though. Somehow, he always did. Walking into the front office of the research lab holding a cream colored bud vase filled with red roses and white lilies, he moved up to the front desk and placed it on top. The florist was way out of his comfort zone, but he still had a bright, welcoming smile on his face. “Hello, I’m looking for Ms. Moon. I think this was meant for her?”

It was rare that Lu Han volunteered himself to make a delivery. Without a car, a bike, and little money to go on, he tried to avoid going out of his way for anything. When he realized that the order came from a huge company though, he thought it would be best that he take it there himself than try to ask to get someone to pick it up. On the outside, it looked huge. It would be impossible for anyone to miss it. And, it looked a whole lot bigger on the inside. The size of the building and the amount of people that swarmed inside it made the pink-haired boy feel a lot smaller than he already did, and he hated it. Each step he took made him even more nervous. Before he’d have a full-blown attack, even though he hadn’t had one for a good couple of years, he hesitantly reached out to tug on the nearest person’s shirt. “Uh, excuse me-“ The florist cleared his throat and spoke up incase he didn’t hear him, the bouquet of flowers held against his chest. “Excuse me, could you take something up for me?”

He knew that face. In fact, he knew it well enough that he could probably point it out anywhere. He never bothered to learn the girl’s name, there was no point to before — she was his competition. Or, part of his competition, anyway. It was rare for Lu Han to ever leave the area, but on the occasion he did, he discovered the girl’s flower shop. The sight didn’t infuriate him, it didn’t bother him either, he just found it odd how many shops opened up in his absence. No one looked at his shop twice back then, but now flower shops looked to be the next ‘trend.’ Or, whatever people called it. It meant good business for him, but, said before, it meant a lot of competition too. For a moment, he studied the girl, lips pursed and eyes narrowed. He had no reason to do so, he just didn’t know if it would be okay to approach her and try to be her friend, or let her be. With a shrug, he stood up and made his way out of the shop to take a seat next to her on the bench sitting right in front. “Hey there.” His smile was bright, and gaze soft. “What’s your name?”

He had to do a double take, but Lu Han did recognize the girl who walked in. He couldn’t say from where, or even her name, but he recognized her. For some time, he sat there and stared at the girl, searching his brain for a name. Or, even, where he saw her from. Thankfully for him, even though he didn’t notice it, she happened to wander right up to a wall of flowers and occupied herself with looking around, not having the chance to catch him staring. Yet, anyway. When he managed to catch himself in the act, his eyes got wide and he immediately looked down, twiddling his thumbs. The florist was the epitome of awkward, and that was an example of why, but he managed. When he managed to get himself together, he moved from behind the counter and went to approach her, giving her shoulder a single tap. “Something catch your eye, Miss?”

Lu Han never imagined that an idol would make their way into the shop. Well, he couldn’t say that. He happened to make the acquaintance of a handful of idols who happened to wander into the shop, but they never did it on purpose. In fact, most people never came in on purpose, but somehow he managed to convince them to buy something. Since he planned do the same thing here, be it make her acquaintance or convince her to buy something, he cleared his throat first to get her to notice him at the counter located toward the front of the shop then spoke up. “Hello there, Miss.” The florist fished for a random flower crown he had made at some point during the day from a bin located directly below him, hidden by the counter, and stepped out from behind the counter to meet her face-to-face, holding it being his back. “I think I have something that you’ll surely like!”
