Ooh! So I normally don't do these, but I want to try and get better at spreading positive vibes. Thanks for the tag, metaphysical-technicality!
Write five positive things about yourself:
I'm really quick at picking up new musical instruments.
I do great voiceover work. (har har)
I'm open to trying new things.
I'm usually able to see both sides of an argument, which has helped me get better at decision making.
I love to learn about and can appreciate cultures different from my own.
I tag moonlitserenades, theworstwanderlust, stagekatz, coleyboley, and robo-thong.
yankeecountess said: actually, it shouldn’t STOP you from getting your period
I was put on the pill to regulate my periods back in high school, but a few years ago my doctor recommended I take it continuously (i.e. skip the week of placebo pills in each pack) to stop it because my periods were getting out of control, going on for weeks/months at a time without stopping (my longest continuous period was four months long. It was horrible. I was anemic and constantly tired and no one could help, it seemed). It's not a perfect system (I was taking it as directed and still got my period when I was in England, for example, where I learned that American pads and British pads are VASTLY DIFFERENT) but it works for me. Except when I get these phantom symptoms that aren't fun.

Isn't it great? Sometimes I just want to stop taking them all together so I can stop messing with my hormones. But then I remember I like not passing out from period pain and I keep taking them.
So I was tagged on Facebook in a post to share 4 good things everyday for 7 days
So these are all of them at once
1 Thankful for My parents allowing me to choose my own life. Letting me choose my own career, religion, and going about it at my own pace. 1-2 I’m thankful for all of the loving people I get to work with at my day job as well as at the renaissance faire. I’ve met some of the most beautiful people inside and out 1-3I’m grateful for having homes to go to, whether it be in rolling meadows or in Antioch. I always have a warm dry place to stay 1-4 I’m grateful for all my teachers and my professors for working so hard to expand my mind as well as those around me. It has helped me become a critical thinker and has made me more curious than George. I will continue my quest to learn as much as I can, until I die. 2-1 I’m grateful for having started working at the Bristol Renaissance faire at 15. In a time of self discovery, I found a home full of people who helped me break out of my shell and showed me that all the fun things in life are just on the other side of my comfort zone. 2-2 The other thing I’m thankful for is that growing up through my teen years with a group of people who accept each other for who they are helped me not only feel better about myself, but taught me not to care what others think of me because I am who I am and people will love me just the way I am. 2-3 Hot showers 2-4 having intelligent people that I can always call just to hang out and play Magic the Gathering. They’re amazing players and provide an excellent challenge for me. I rarely win anymore and I love it!! 3-1having that bright ball of sunshine in my life named stagekatz One smile and your heart melts like an ice cube on a grill. She can walk into a room and suddenly everyone is 80% happier. I have never met anyone who was so awesome and smart balled up into an adorable young woman. She kicks more ass than Chuck Norris 3-2 I’m blessed to have a love for cooking. I don’t get to do it often anymore due to lack of free time + energy 3-3 I’m grateful for my friends that play ingress. Especially Sid because there is nothing more therapeutic than a late night stroll, blowing up resistance’s resonators 3-4 I’m grateful for being born and raised in a town that has Portillo’s 4-1 I am grateful for my health. I don’t have a disease that limits what I do, yet, the people that do have those kinds of diseases are the strongest people I have ever seen and if my health is to change, I only hope to find the strength they found. 4-2 I’m thankful for my brain, for running the way it does and for tolerating my crap. Even though I may feel crazy at times, my brain is still whole and very functional. I couldn’t be more grateful than that 4-3 I’m grateful for my aunts and uncles that have given me advice and given me so many fantastic memories. I look forward to many more great memories. 4-4 I’m grateful for my grandparents. I have and have had the most amazing grandparents in the world. Out of the 4 of them, not a single one has been like the other, they all contributed different lessons and different loving memories that have helped me make me who I am today 5-1 I’m thankful for my heterosexual life partner Anthony. We have worked through existential crisis’ together, ran around acting like idiots (pretty frequently), taken philosophy and psychology classes together, we’ve even made a comic about bran cereal and a zombie. We’ve been through a lot but ever since the first day we ran around town after school singing build me up buttercup that this friendship was the equivalent of soulmates 5-2 I’m thankful for Italian beef 5-3 I’m really really thankful for Italian beef 5-4 I’m grateful to have such amazing people to look up to. I look up to Leonardo Da Vinci. He was an amazing artist, scholar, inventor, and he even coded his inventions so that others could not duplicate them. I have never gotten more inspirational quotes from anyone than I have gotten from Mark Twain. His mind was amazing and he is the man of the comet.
Unpopular Opinion: I like Mama Mia
strongly agree | agree | neutral | disagree | strongly disagree
i’m neutral on this one. i don’t see why people hate it so much? i’ve never actually heard a reasoning for it. yeah it’s super cheesy, but the music is fun and the storyline is kinda cute and simple. it’s not the world’s worst musical~ like people on here treat it like it is. it’s not my favorite but i don’t absolutely hate it.
send me unpopular opinions (or popular, it doesn’t matter) and i’ll rate them
Bonnie & Clyde?
it's definitely in my top 20!
