Rosalina Mother of the Stars
holy shoot it took me nearly 3 hours to make this! three whole hours, just to make the galaxy princess look beautiful!
Villa de Seu Sentimentos Importam (or simply Seu Sentimentos) is the nearest introject (int) village to Headquarters. The int families here specialize in products and services that support emotional intelligence, which are used locally, served to HQ, and exported throughout the mind. Also if there's ever an explosion in HQ, these guys come in to repair the giant hole in the wall. Most buildings are hollowed out giant mushrooms, with most of the int workspace and walkways tunneling underground, while the surface floors are used as store fronts connected by streets for other - non int- mindenizens to walk along.
Among some of the establishments here are the Emotional Regulation super shop that sells anything from super soft support blankets to tins of anxie-tea bags. The Emotional Literacy Library includes books and classes about regulation, repairs and cultural contexts. There’s Meditation Stations, Gratitude Galleries, and Compassion Cafes. These services are only as good as I understand and practice these concepts, far from perfect. In fact there are maladaptive establishments as well such as Insecurity’s hustle culture cosmetic store; no mater how many times it gets burned to the ground, it eventually just pops up again 😔. Ideally, as I grow and learn, Seus Sentimentos will work more with me than against me.

Young Rosalina with Luma ⋇⋆✦⋆⋇
When I was 14, sketched some art I found online, then tried rendering it as my first ever piece on my drawing tablet with ms paint. Then I re-drew that with krita as a test run (bottom piece).
I re-made it once again to see my progress in 2023 (middle piece), and re-drew it just this year in september-november to mark 5 years since I got my first drawing tablet, and see how much my wonky anatomy skills have improved.
Whenever I feel bad about my abilities, I look back to see how far I've come. The kid I was way back when I first played SMG1 and cried at rosalina's story book, would be amazed at what I drew at 14, let alone what I can do now. I may not be the best, but i don't need to be. I'm happy I can draw anything at all :)
