So yes, I know that love is unconditional. But I also know that it can be unpredictable, unexpected, uncontrollable, unbearable and strangely easy to mistake for loathing, and... What I'm trying to say is... I think I love you.

*bursts in kool-aid man style* Stardust AU?
This one legit started on accident because a mutual re logged a Stardust gifset and I went absolutely FERAL at the thought of sky pirate!Gerry (I was also very influenced by @iceeckos12 's Jon's moving castle, the idea of rewriting my favorite fantasy was just too appealing lmao)
I haven't written much of it but the entire thing is already outlined with a lot of detail, including a neat twist at the end with the aforementioned Captain.
Before anyone asks, yes, this is JGM, now have a snippet
If his father was actually a prince and not just a traveler with a knack for telling stories, why would he ever come back to a wife who hates his memory and a son that never believed it in the first place?
Still he looks at the sky at night.
That's why he's probably the only one to notice, when a star from the Watcher's Crown constellation shakes like a leaf in the wind, before shooting down across the sky, landing neatly behind the wall.
“Don’t be stupid,” Mum snarls when Martin mentions it offhandedly at supper. “That’s just a lie your useless coward of a father came up with so he could leave me with you.”
“I saw it fall, mum. Right behind the wall, a few days’ travel away at most,” Martin insists, because what if it isn’t a lie at all? What if his father didn’t just abandon them? It’s a thought he hasn’t dared entertain in more than fifteen years, that maybe it wasn’t just that he and his mother weren’t worth it, maybe there’s a reason behind the absence that’s defined his entire life in Wall.
Y'all: yes write that stardust!au. You know you want to.
Me: *wants to write as a procrastination method but doesn't want to procrastinate*
hold me tight and think of home
“Have you seen a fallen star?” Jughead makes another circle. It would help if he knew what he was looking for. What do stars become when they fall to the earth? A lump of burnt rock? Maybe it looks like nothing. Maybe it hits the ground and disintegrates into a glimmer of stardust.
She blinks at him, then scoffs. “Funny,” she says dryly.
“No, seriously,” he shakes his head. He’s not sure why the candle led him here, of all places, but there has to be a reason. Surely, a bit of stardust isn’t all that’s left. “We’re in a crater!” Jughead gestures around wildly, but the pretty, blonde woman with sparkling green eyes only looks at him blankly. “This has to be where it fell!”
She stares at him.
“Yeah,” she says eventually, nodding slowly. “Actually, this is where it fell.”
His heart leaps in his chest. “Really?”
“Yeah!” she says again, more enthusiastically this time, though her smile is sharper than before, almost sarcastic. “It fell here about an hour ago.”
“You saw it?” He’s grinning like an idiot now and she nods rapidly.
The girl is definitely shimmering now. “Yeah, I saw it. It fell right here.” She gestures around wildly at the deep, smoking crater in the middle of the woods. “And if you want to be really specific,” she points up above them, and Jughead follows her finger to see thousands of glittering stars in the night sky, “up there is where this weird, ugly necklace came out of nowhere and knocked it out of the sky.” She yanks at said necklace around her throat, a big clear jewel on a silver chain. Then she points to the center of the crater, where the ground has turned to a thin sheet of black glass. “Over there is where it landed.” Her finger shifts to a spot just a few feet from where she is. “And right there is where it was knocked down by a bumbling, jittery moron.”
Jughead blinks.
The woman stares at him, irritated green eyes glittering in the darkness.

A bughead stardust!AU
Stardust!AU: Jungkook was just an average village boy who happened to find a fallen star named Taehyung. The two set out on a journey back to his village and along the way they encounter witches and pirates, but eventually fall in love.
Unsurprisingly, being made of stars and stardust usually makes you really big
