Who hogs the duvet: Despite Skyfire taking up most of the bed space, it's Starscream who ends up just eventually dragging all the covers to his side as the night carries on.
Who texts/rings to check how their day is going: Skyfire constantly sends nice little messages when he can.
Who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts: Starscream comes up with the most amazing lavish gifts ever!
Who gets up first in the morning: Skyfire, he normally gets up first and gets them both a nice portion of energon. Starscream is too snuggled up in the stolen sheets to want to move.
Who suggests new things in bed: Starscream. He has a very creative imagination.
Who cries at movies: It's starts off being Skyfire while Starscream rolls his optics, but by the end Starscream will be the one completely crying his eyes out.
Who gives unprompted massages: Skyfire, he can tell when Starscream is stressed and needs a good wing massage.
Who fusses over the other when they’re sick: It's normally Skyfire, since Starscream will normally never admit there’s anything wrong until he just completely collapses. Skyfire has to do everything in his power to stop Star springing up and getting back to killing Megatron.
Who gets jealous easiest: Oh Starscream. Always Starscream, probably been a thing since they're Academy days but he can't stop himself getting jealous when he suspects someone else of flirting with Sky (here's looking at you Perceptor)
Who has the most embarrassing taste in music: Skyfire, who listens to out-of-date songs from 4 million years ago.
Who collects something unusual: Skyfire likes collecting plants and has a flower press books, (as well as spores, moulds, and fungus). He likes collecting interesting samples from the planets he’s visited. Starscream doesn’t quite have the same fascination with organic stuff.
Who takes the longest to get ready: Starscream, he will always spend forever fussing over how he look. “You need to have the right cape for a social evening, Skyfire! You can’t just show up to this party looking like a peasant!”
Who is the most tidy and organised: Skyfire. Skyfire keeps everything organised, Starscream likes being very organised but things have fallen into disarray since Sky’s been gone.
Who gets most excited about the holidays: Starscream. You can’t tell me Starscream doesn’t just get completely giddy at the idea of holidays. Halloween? Costumes and getting sweets? Christmas? Skyfire always sends him presents (and his trine are also now obligated to get him presents as well).
Who is the big spoon/little spoon: Starscream insists he’s the big spoon. He isn’t.
Who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports: Starscream. The level of rage quitting when he loses is insane. Skyfire will often deliberately lose just to avoid confrontation.
Who starts the most arguments: Starscream. When is it not going to be Starscream?
Who suggests that they buy a pet: Skyfire suggests it. Starscream hates the idea, but when they get a cat Starscream is the one who looks after it the most.
What couple traditions they have: Flying to together on a starry night. There’s a bunch of old Vosian traditions no one has done in years since before the war, but Skyfire goes through with them. It’s nice and nostalgic for Starscream.
What TV shows they watch together: Skyfire introduces Starscream to a lot of human romances and sitcoms. Starscream initially dismisses them all but eventually he becomes the most invested and looks up the fanfictions. He took over the TV station when his favourite one got cancelled.
What other couple they hang out with: They mostly have to keep their relationship a secret during the war, so not many. I can imagine them running into Perceptor/Deadlock and Soundwave/Cosmos and just being like “... I won’t tell if you don’t.”
(Also cos I am deeply invested in their post-war lives in Awake, they hang out with Thundercracker/Skywarp, Perceptor/Drift a fair bit).
How they spend time together as a couple: Secret meetings sneaking away from their factions to go on nice little dates with each other. Skyfire likes cuddling Starscream in his arms as they talk. Starscream probably wants to interface.
Who made the first move: Starscream probably. At the Academy they were just awkward nerds and it was so obvious
Who brings flowers home: I was going to type ‘Skyfire’ but then I remembered that I literally wrote a fic where Starscream decorates Skyfire’s entire room with flowers as a surprise for him.
Who is the best cook: Skyfire. Star likes to believe he is but rushes through cooking and often messes up the recipe (but he won’t admit it).
