While she had been away, a certain bull-bear-creature had deposited a large quantity of sweet fruit in her throne room. Plump peaches are piled on apricots, and again topped with sweet-smelling strawberries and a few large oranges. In a rather clumsy handwriting, someone left a note as well. "inVaSive sPEcies or Not, ovERpRoduCtion CaLLs foR shaRing TReatS!" And instead of a signature, there is a small bull doodled into the corner of the paper.
She hadn’t been away for long, like... an hour tops. But when she returned to see a large amount of delicious-looking fruits, she couldn’t help but wonder who brought them and left them here. The fact that none of the guards seemed to really care meant that it was someone she’d talked to before... wait, was that paper on that pile? Picking it up and reading through it, she still wasn’t sure who it was that left them there, until she saw the doodle in the corner, causing her to remember that talk she’d had with the one Troll, and grin.
“Well, Iago, I’ll just have to find some way to repay you for sharing the excess fruits of your labor next time I see you! For now, though, I’m gonna have to have these delicious treats distributed throughout the castle; there’s no way I’d be able to eat them all on my own!”
Picking a couple of each fruit, but only one orange, she called for a servant; when one came in and asked what she wanted, the Queen motioned to the pile and asked that he distribute them amongst the servants, and get help doing so, if he didn’t think he could do it on his own. Giving her an affirmation and a light bow, he disappeared into the servant’s quarters and came back out a couple minutes later with several others, all of them carrying large bowls with them. Using a quick spell, the Queen transported the excess fruits from where they were to the bowls, as the servants gave a quick bow and left back to the servant’s quarters... but before the last one did, she called out for them to wait a second, and let them know that the seeds were not to be planted or disposed of normally, because they were fruits from another dimension; the larger fruits came from trees, and if enough people liked them, she would have an area set aside for foreign fruits to be grown in a carefully controlled area.
“As much as I like Earth fruits, we can’t let them take over Mewni; they don’t belong here, and as such, might ruin our crops we already grow if we’re not careful... that’s all, by the way. Enjoy the fruits!”
With another bow, the servants left for real, as Star sat on the throne and conjured up a quick bowl of her own, setting the orange and peaches in first, then the apricots, then the strawberries; she was gonna enjoy these treats.
