rowan knew that this was going to be a big deal for the paper, getting an interview with one of the hottest bands in the country would really shoot her career up where it needed to be. so with a deep breath she lifted up her fist, knocking against the hotel room door.

It had been quite some time since Rowan had gone out on her own. She was used to always having her solid group of friends tag along with her on nights out, but this night she was over all of their bullshit excuses and complicated love lives. She just wanted to have an escape and make a little fun of her own. As she stepped into the club she could already see that the crowd was going crazy. Loud electric dance music was playing, almost drowning out the groans and chatter of everyone who filled the club. Her gaze drifted towards the bar, making a beeline for a drink to help her get a little tipsy.
