I have a lot to write in this days (sincerly last weekend's events in Turin just let me think that we'll have a declarate Fasc1st government by 2027), so I'll do also today with robots. Worldwide situation is falling fast, and day by day is harder to found a way to have a way to rest and not crumble under the situation. I'm sincerly so fucking depressed that day by day, years by years, this crazy capitalistic, rich dominated and merciless imposed society bring us to this.
But Today I want to spend some words about Iran situation. I can't simply explain with words how much I'm not in to Religion (Primus aside, but he's fictional robot god), and I'm not exactly a fan of something like "theocratic government" (as Italian I know the weight and dogma religions impose), and a goverments that use and abuse of religion to impose and dispose of ppl and especially of woman simply drives me mad. (If you also don't know the story about Amini from 2022, please read) (and also about protest that followed) In these days of protests in Iran, you can barely imagine what womans are suffering, since LAW allow to do whatever to them. Also, I'm very angry that our right wing politic class is totally exploiting Iran's situation to make propaganda for THEM and is a total shit, using the blood of another country to distort protest we're doing in Italy, mutate all in a sort of cheer for one ore another, falling on a lever of hypocrisis that is simply growing day by day. I think we're guided by a kindergarden full of mean babies. IRAN: WHAT CAN YOU DO? 1- Research & Study. Iran's history is complex and I'm not an hystorian, but at least I (as many but not all) have access to the net to make research*. I KNOW IS HARD, BUT you can also try to research using satirical content creators that still spread information with reels and meme to approach "easier".
*AND NO, DON'T USE CHAT GPT TO RESEARCH: DO IT BY YOURSELF. AI is not capable (or willing) to discern information and take the most used answers or, worst, manipulated ones (I think that Isra*ll propaganda is enough to make you understand this). And you still feed some stupid speculative bubble for rich idiots I'll leave you Wikipedia link to general and esaustive information, and I suggest to read 1930 pieces and then from 1970 until today's to have a general idea of the situation. Also, some last news .Disconnected and afraid: Iran’s internet blackouts leave lasting scars .Dec 2025\Jan 2026 Massacres .Iranian protester Erfan Soltani released on bail following fears of execution, reports say
2- Spread the voice. Don't close yourself. Talk about what you learned: you can do online or with ppl, your choice. BUT talk about. And plz, avoid shit like "Is not my problem, Is not my country, If the others are so intrested then go to that country and resolve there.**" I am full of this shit already and you know that you are searching excuses to not look at the entire society crumble. WHAT YOU LET HAPPEN TO ANOTHER (neighbour, city or country) ONE DAY COULD HAPPEN TO YOU. 30 years ago, nobody would expect nazist and fascist in America... and then. Consider (if possibile, since times are really hard) also to make donations on GoFundMe **Which doesn't mean that you have to burnout or d!e for. But you have to be aware: in a world like ours, in time like ours, we cannot be blind.
3- Share Your Net with Conduit Probably you know that Iran is under Net Blackout and many cannot access to almost any social. @khaterehek-blog from Iran (dear, let me know if you are fine that I tag you in this) also confirmed that has very limited access and can contact me only here on Tumbrl.
SO, YOU CAN HELP! Is not much, but you can use CONDUIT, an app that let you share a part of your connection to bring connection to who doesn't have it. I'm not good in explain tecnical detail and I'm not sure how it works for who needs to access, but I've started to use it to share my extra net and it seems to work quite well. I linked the FAQ page to start know the app and you can choose either to use it or not.
That's a very little contribute to keep some attention, I see that some UK & USA iranian's community are trying to make some effort to support ppl... I'm not sure at all Italy's contribute could be of any value, but as for myself I hope this post could do a little help.
