-The younger brother of NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Justin Wilson, Stefan has made a name for himself in motorsports. -He earned the 2007 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award for promising British drivers after finishing second in the Formula Palmer Audi Championship a few months earlier. The next year he competed in the British Formula Three Championship National Class and placed fourth in the standings. He moved to the U.S. in 2009 to compete in Firestone Indy Lights, and in 2011 he won two races with Andretti Autosport. -Made his NTT INDYCAR SERIES debut at Baltimore in 2013, racing alongside his older brother. -lists motorsports, computers and cycling as hobbies and workout regimen favorites. -Stefan’s older brother, Justin, was the first driver to die from injuries sustained in a racing incident since Dan Wheldon.

Injured in a crash during practice for the 2023 Indy 500, after qualification was complete. Graham Rahal, who was bumped from the race during qualifications, substituted for him.
