Bat Family Headcanons (because I got stitches and can't move one hand and feel like shit 😊😊😊 )

Bruce hates getting eye drops or ear drops. He would rather have a fork in his retina than get those things in his eyeball or ear. Has to be jumped and forcibly restrained in order to get dosed.

Dick has a fear of spiders. Not a phobia, he just gets all shivery and has to vacate the room they're in until somebody gets rid of it.

Duke is a chewing gum enjoyer. He carries at least three different flavours at all times. He's a bubblegum enthusiast and it's the only thing he hates about patrol because he can't chew gum as per Bruce's rules about limiting DNA at scenes and choking hazards

Babs loves chess and plays with Jim whenever he can. She often comes by the Manor to play Alfred or Bruce. And the BatComputer which always loses.

Alfred makes everyone winter sweaters or socks or mittens. Everyone only gets one option and everyone has an assigned colour.

Jason is a sucker for a bubblebath with the full works. Bath salt, oils, scented candles, his favourite trashy reality TV on in the corner.

Cass likes to listen to audio books while trying to get to sleep. She likes Jane Austen mainly because Jason downloaded them for her as must reads.

Tim takes afternoon naps in Bruce's study even if he's using it. He comes in, sweats on, hoodie on and just curls up on the sofa there and gets his 30mins even if Bruce is having a video conference or brooding over Bat business.

Dick often swings by Jason's apartment with a six pack of beer, just to chill with him. They might watch TV or just hang while Jason fixes up Dick's bike. He just wants to hang out with Jason, make up for some lost time.

Damian gets Steph and Duke's approval on his outfits. He's very self conscious when it comes to picking street clothes because he wants to look cool and he trusts their opinion the most.

Steph uses everything as a hairstick or a hair clip. She's got very pretty hair clips, some funny ones too but she always forgets to bring one so she uses pens, pencils, even an crossbow bolt once.

Dick has a weekly spa session in Gotham. He keeps the appointment unless he's dead or dying or sonething is seriously wrong. He has left space missions for his deep tissue massage, Korean facial and steam in the sauna. His cell is turned off, his airpods are in, this is his few hours he dedicates to himself.

Babs grows out her hair for a charity that makes wigs for sick kids. She's got really fast growing hair and likes to rock a short look from time to time. She tells nobody.

Steph loves the OG CSI series. She calls Jim Gordon "Brass". She hums the theme when she's lifting prints and has a keen interest in forensics because she wants to be like Catherine (though she gets treated like Greg). Bruce is her Grissom.

Cass really likes iced fruit juices. She loves apple but hates cranberry juice. Can be seen enjoying a mocktail with lunch.

Damian often has back pain because of his replaced spine so he needs to undergo a specific regime to relieve the tension. While he ices or heats his back, he watches Studio Ghilbi films.

Alfred has a stash of biscuits (cookies) hidden in the cupboard and only brings them out when the kids are really hurt or Bruce is zoning out too much or when he just really needs a pick me up.

Jason only tolerates two cops. Jim Gordon. And Olivia Benson. He's a diehard Law and Order: SVU fan. His ringtone for Babs is the opening theme.

Duke's guilty pleasure is hospital dramas and soaps. His mom used to watch them to unwind from a long day and he used to complain about it but he got engrossed in the drama and streams them when he's alone in the house. Alfred introduces him to Eastenders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

Bruce has a soft spot for people playing with or stroking his hair. He resets him and makes him feel vulnerable and safe at once. He's like one of those kittens that gets scratches for the first time, his pupils getting HUGE.

Damian: My friends took the whole group to a magic themed escape room

Jason: 🤣🤣🤣

Damian: This is about to be the worst night of my life

Steph: Give us a play by play

Damian: The lock is just a combination lock. I'm holding myself back from just cracking it.

Dick: Just try to have fun bud!

Tim: But don't forget to hold yourself back! You can't solve the whole thing in under 5 minutes!

Cass: Yes. Keep cover. Even if it's boring.

Damian: They've finally figured out the playing cards have objects that correspond to things around the room.

Damian: Jfc why are they breaking everything?! Why is their solution to puzzles throwing it onto the ground?

Duke: Time to take your credit card out to pay for damages 😂

Damian: They've finally figured out to put the cards on top of the tapestry to form the puzzle

Steph: Dami it's been a few minutes. Don't leave us hanging! What's been happening.

Damian: I've been helping with figuring out the sentence clue from the framed posters

Damian: Someone was on duty to find the missing card in a jacket pocket. I had to mitigate their meltdown when I found it in 30 seconds, and they couldn't find it after 5 mins.

Dick: What was the sentence?

Damian: I've been here the whole time?

Damian: Fuck gotta scavenge through the clock they slammed into the floor

Duke: What did yoy get?

Damian: A magic wand that unlocks a secret room in the wall

Cass: What's in the room?

Damian: We have to defuse a bomb now?! What happened to this being magic themed?!

Jason: It's Gotham. If a bomb isn't involved is it even nerve wracking?

Damian: Finally out! Never again! Worst experience of my life!

Steph: 🤣🤣🤣

hc that Bruce calls Steph 'precious' and 'treasure' and 'sunshine' and other such nicknames but never calls her 'Princess'

For one because Princess is Cass's nickname and he would never dare share a nickname thats a sure fire way to cause Problems in the Wayne Household

For two because Princess is such a father/father-figure+daughter nickname and its what Arthur used to mockingly call her, so Bruce firstly doesn't want to associate with him and secondly doesn't want to force that sort of relationship onto her

So he sticks with calling her his Sun instead. (haha. word play. shes like... his only not-son and his not-child. i think im funny wtv)

Tim didn't hear what Spoiler had said, his tired mind elsewhere, focused on matters more important than jokes. But the small smile that appeared on Batman's face, he could not miss it. Not when it was so different from his usual smiles, the ones that Tim had slowly discovered as the man got out of the dippest pit of grief and depression. This one was shining, without any teeth showing, just from the happiness radiating from it, while still being discret, like all of Bruce’s real smiles. Tim was unaccustomed with this smile, and yet, he knew it extremely well, as he had looked at it many times in his life, on the pictures he collected before, and on the ones around the manor.

It was the smile Bruce Wayne reserved to a young Dick Grayson.

Inspired by Tim describing Steph has "bringing light in Bruce's life" during War Games, which is how Dickbin is describes, and also the fact that Stephbin's interactions with Bruce reminded me of Dickbin with Bruce. And I saw somewhere that Steph reminded Tim of Dick too.
