I so shipped Steven and Johnny back in the day, though interacted like once?, yet had gay Steven stuck between the branning sisters instead smh. I do wonder if original Steven would cheated with Johnny as seemed hint there was kinda of an attraction.
I shipped them so bad, when Steven came back. It's such a shame too because Aaron Sidwell fought so hard for them to let Steven be bisexual, which canonically he was. I'm still so upset for him, because they sold him coming back with this great storyline (lowkey think the story they sold was what you said), and than it was utter rubbish and then they killed him off. When he first came back and flirted with Johnny, I thought they were going to go with an affair type storyline. But then it never happened. Them killing off Steven, a legacy character, after killing Lucy off. Is probably one of the worst decisions the show ever did. If there was ever a character, I wish they would "bring back from the dead" it would be Steven. Although if Aaron Sidwell never trusted the writers again. I wouldn't blame him.
