2. Where is your favorite place to write?

Uhhh hmm. It changes. I go through phases. I used to only write in my home office, on my desktop computer. Now I write on my laptop a lot cause my desktop has been kind of sick and I haven’t saved the money for replacement parts yet. If I’m on my laptop I’m usually either in my big, blue armchair, or on the couch. Lately, a lot of couch. I don’t know why!

36. Post a snippet

Here’s a sneak peek of an Ults AU fic I have in the works. I started writing it a while ago and ran out of steam but I’d like to get back into it soon! Steve works in security, and Tony is trying to drink and drug himself to death before the tumour gets him. Lighthearted and fun! :P

Steve stepped over another sprawled out, naked body with a sigh. No one had even noticed that a complete stranger had just walked into the house. A familiar cut of dark hair drew him to a couch by the far wall, and sure enough, it was Tony, wearing nothing but a cheap, blue tie that he definitely would never own, one sock, and a sticker of a cartoon character stuck over each nipple. He looked… sticky. Steve curled a lip and kept his eyes on Tony's face. He shoved him hard in the side with one foot.

"Stark."

It took two more kicks before Tony jolted upright with a snort and blinked at Steve. "Huh?" He said, then he turned a cartoonish shade of green and rocketed up to his feet. Without another word, he took off at a brisk jog down the hall, bare ass gleaming in the morning light. 

Steve followed him and found him on his knees in the bathroom, vomiting into the toilet. It didn't look like he was the first person to do that in the last twenty-four hours. "This is disgusting," Steve said, unable to manage professional detachment any longer. 

"S'why I fit right in," Tony mumbled. He retched again, but nothing came up, so he staggered to his feet and stuck his mouth under the tap, drinking deeply. 

He still wasn't wearing pants.

"Where are your clothes?" Steve asked with another sigh. 

Tony shrugged. "No fucking clue."

So I’m sat here with a group of friends who have never got why I love Matthew Goode so much.  One by one they have pulled out of seeing Matthew Goode movies with me over the years because of the ‘squealing’ that happens.  I wish that was an exaggeration but it is not - worst was The Imitation Game when I was so shocked by Matthew’s first appearance on screen that I made a weird noise and the whole audience turned around to see what it was. My friends and my bloke just sunk into their seats muttering ‘never again’.   When he died after 5 minutes in Belle my “Noooooooooo” didn’t go down too well either.

Anyway - after the Crown a few of them admitted that they were feeling the Goode thing too but tonight the subject of ADOW was raised (not by me - SO proud of myself) and guess what - NOW they get it.  NOW they get what I see in him.  About bloody time.   5 more Goode fans in the support group!  YAAAAS!
