A life-changing, no, a life-saving discovery in my opinion. ❞ There’s a pause as she shuffles through diagrams of designs she’s been working on. Words scribbled here and there along the edge of the paper, sketches of possible weapons she’ll put into experimentation ( if she gets the approval of course, sometimes her ideas are deemed a bit too much ). Course she has a habit of never quite finishing a layout before she has an idea for another ( so many projects on hold - maybe she could go back to earlier designs and fix them up ). ❝ When in use, a quinque will release electrical signals to emulate how a kakuhou would release a ghoul’s kagune. I always thought quinque swords to be interesting, old school in a way, scythes also have an element of drama to them, I’ve always had admiration for those who can use them and make them seem weightless. ❞

     the INTERTWINING of lithe digits , a shoulder pressed firmly against that belonging to other’s ——— eyes are WIDE like SAUCER PLATES as he attempts to make out just what the other is glancing at over the mass of bodies before him that OBSCURE HIS VISION . ◇ ___ Did her eyes deceive her? Is she actually standing right in front of the one and only Suzuya Juuzou? Oh she has longed to meet the rising star of the CCG, especially after conducting her own research on the young man because after all, he’s oh so fascinating and the current target of her budding debauchery. Being among the small pool of humans dabbling in the underground ghoul society, her research has lead to the discovering of Rei Suzuya, who was formerly in the custody of the madames. 

Looks like Juuzou has since changed his name, creating a new identity of himself as the unconventional, albeit model investigator. There’s way too many questions Himari hopes to ask but her time is limited. The say time flies when one is having fun and oh she’ll be lying if she wasn’t having a blast at the moment. Just what will this conversation lead to? In the midst of her ever so hyperactive curiosity the wait has gone on long enough. It’s time to dig into the mind of the CCG’s rising star and see what’s of growing interest to the psych major. 

❝The day is finally here.❞ She can barely keep herself from grinning. ❝I’ve always wanted to meet you so excuse me if I’m a little too excited.❞

          ❛     can i HELP you ?     ❜     he can feel it ——— the other breathing down his neck , can feel the short puffs of air that elicit from his person at every exhale . his eyes instinctively narrow some , just subtle enough so it does not appear that he’s irritated , for even if the other is aware of his falsified persona he wishes not to break character out of habit . he turns on his heel , quick , meets the younger’s eyes with a cutesy tilt of pink haired head  &  an index finger against a soft cheek . his facial expression screams naive bewilderment ——— crystalline optics scream unadulterated rage in the same breath . [ why he won’t just leave him alone is beyond him . ]     ❛     what do you want , suzuya - san ?     ❜     the inquiry is saccharine sweet , oozes with a fondness almost disgusting in its exaggerated approach ; there’s a faint flush of red ‘gainst his face but it is not caused from endearment / rather he’s angry . ( he can’t fight him . not now . not when there’s people around to witness it . )     ❛     i thought we already talked about how i didn’t want to see you around anymore . you’re not deaf are you ? you didn’t forget ?     ❜ ( @stitchcourse . )

                    he smells like blood , but he can hardly find it in him to care. it is the end of a long stretch of weeks     (     is it the end ? it feels as though a certain nameless ghoul will appear again at any moment to return him to a dark , damp cave     /     mutsuki has to remind himself that torso is now dead     )     &&. though he is certainly different , even he cannot fend off exhaustion forever. it is the dead of night     ;     he thinks hardly anyone in the ccg will be awake , &&. if they are , he really doesn’t care about that , either.     (     he cares about one thing     -     one singular goal for which he shall strive in the future , if only to give him some light for which to wish.     )

                    it is then that his eyes     (     right , he lost his eyepatch in everything that happened     /     will need a new one now     )     glance over the visage of one suzuya juuzou. he looks almost like a stranger to him now , though he should have expected he would be here to greet him. he isn’t sure suzuya ever sleeps.          ❛           ah. you’re here.          ❜          was his voice always so hoarse ? he can’t remember.

his WORTH ( in the office ) can be measured in stacks of papers. so narrates a bitter mind that reaps a bitter face . . . but not bitter feet. scuffed shoes meet pavenment with a relentless pace as he casts an absent eye across the street . . . & looks towards the bicyclers, vendors, towards piles of dust decorating that third-story apartment. a study arises upon the businessman sleeping on the bench by the bus stop. a black briefcase finds itself clutched firmly between sleep fingers.. 

certainly must be an investigator . . . seidou jokes to himself & steals a smile. it suffocates quickly, however, as efficient steps bring him beneath the arch of the zoo’s entrance. find suzuya juuzou, they had said - as if it were an easy task. find him & get his signature - as if he didn’t have better things to do with his day. & he didn’t really want to pay the entrance fee - but he proceede with a jaw clenching tight as he walks blindly in search of man that only might be present. office rumors could hardly be called a reliable foundation for his search . . . 

YET THERE IS SUCCESS  -   juuzou has been located . . . but only after the summer sun has pulled sweat from his brow & made his suit itch.  of course.  ‘     WHY   --    ‘  begins his loud complaint.   ‘   was it so difficult to get in touch with you ?     ‘
