You’re at a car meet because your friend dragged you out of your shared dorm room. Slightly sulking at how loud everything is with the engines roaring and people screaming for their teams.

“Y/N come on!” Your friend calls out with pure excitement as she looks back behind her shoulder beaming you her wide smile.

Guilt slightly took over you because you felt bad for wanting to already leave. Sighing to yourself, you closed your eyes momentarily before opening them up again only to feel intense panic seeking in. You had lost sight of your friend in a place where it is immensely packed with people.

“Shit, shit, shit, shit.” You mumbled to yourself as you pushed passed people with small “excuse me” and “sorry” being thrown around as you moved around.

A hand took hold of your wrist which caused you to flinch and looked to the side to see someone you don’t know dragging you up to where the cars are.

“Hey! Let go of me!” You said as you pushed at their hand before finally getting their grasp off of your wrist. “What gives!?”

“Listen we need a flag girl and you’re the first one I saw that wasn’t practically throwing themselves at me to let them go.” The man says as he looks at you with hopes in his eyes.

You looked at the man with slight disgust and hesitation at the thought. You knew what a flag girl had to do, courtesy to the movie Fast and the Furious, but that didn’t mean YOU knew the rules.

How bad could it be. Right?

Sighing to yourself once again, you nodded at the man. “Fine I’ll be the flag girl.” You mumbled out which caused the man to cheer and drag you again towards the starting line.

Before you reached the starting line, the man stopped once again and looked back at you and started to assess your outfit.

“You gotta change something here.” The man said as he frowned slightly.

“Change? My outfit?” You said as you looked down at your outfit. You wore torn boyfriend jeans, with your white sneakers, a black and white flannel with a white bandana wrapped around your head.

“Yeah yeah. I mean it looks good give your props for that but ima need you to unbutton that flannel of yours’.” The man said as he gave you a cheeky smile.

“I- thank baby Jesus I decided to wear a crop top underneath this.” You mumbled as you started to unbutton the flannel.

“You look great! Come one let’s get you to the line.” The man says as he drags you once again to the starting line.

Once placed in the middle, the man gives you another smile as the cars started to line up on either side of you.

“If you need anything later on, the name’s Johnny.” The man says as he gives you a pat on your shoulders before walking away.

The cars started to rev their engines as they prepared themselves for the start of the race. Curiosity taking the best of you, you leaned forward slightly and peaked inside the cars.

A tall figure leaning back against his car’s seat with his wrist on the stirring wheel, ducks his head down and looks at you with a smirk on his face.

Blushing, you widen your eyes slightly before looking to your left to see a rather figure tall leaning against his door with his elbow propped out. His eyes traveled from your feet up until you two made eye contact and he winked at you.

Quickly looking away, you cleared your throat and looked at both of them before raising both of your hands up.

“Racers! On my mark — get set — GO!”

With that, the racers speed off into their race. Releasing the breath your were holding, you started to make your way back into the crowd where you saw your friend waiting for you at the front.

“You were so cool up there!” Your friend cheered as she jumped on her tippy toes while clapping her hands.

You chuckled nervously as you looked down at your feet while a shy grin plays on your face. “You think so?” You questioned her as a blush took over your face.

“Hell yeah! Especially when Lucas and Mark lined up and basically flirted with you.” Your friend said as she wiggled her eyebrows at you.

“Dude stop, they’re just flirting it’s nothing serious.” You laughed as you pushed your friend’s shoulder lightly, causing the two of you to giggle.

“Excuse me.” You hear and then you felt a pat on your shoulder.

You turned around and you felt your eyes widen at the sight of one of the racers in the first line up.

“I’m Mark.” The guy introduced himself with a boyish grin as he extends his hand out towards you.

“O-oh um I’m Y/N.” You said as you smiled slightly and as you shake his hand.

“Wassup? Wanna be my sugar mama?”

“Huh?”

“Joking! I was joking! Well — kind of but you looked good out there!” Mark rambled out as the tips of his ears turned red as he tried to laugh it off.

Which caused you to laugh as you looked at him continuing to ramble.

Hearing you laugh, caused him to stop rambling and look at you with a smile on his face.

“Why — why are we laughing?” Mark laugh slightly as he looks at you mesmerized.

“Just how naturally you put yourself out there.” You said as you looked at him with a smile.

The tip of his ears turned even more red which caused you to chuckle and coo at him at how cute he is for being so shy. To which this caused the two of you to continue talking and getting to know one another more.

“Hey, so uh — do you want to hang out in my car after the races are over? Or at least when my races are done? I only got like...2 more.” Mark rambled out as he looked at you with wide, hopeful eyes.

Seeing the way he was looking at you, you knew you couldn’t say no. “I’d love that.” You said as you smiled widely at him and feeling glad that your friend dragged you out of your dorm room for the night.

The musky smell and smoke clung to the air, clearly aggravating the blonde as she brought the collar of her satin teal top to her nose, making you grin faintly. “I don’t know. I used to be a very light sleep. And when I did, I suffered from some pretty bad night terrors. But being around him… sleeping near him I never got another. Honestly it’s gotten to the point where I can only fall asleep when I’m near Sly..” You mumbled softly, as Water Lily’s sigh could be heard. “I’m surprised you can even stand him, Vixxen. I mean, he’s everything you’re against. The sex, the drugs, the weapons.” The kinky haired brunette added on, her fingers tapping the sides of her glass.

The Boss’ of the Female Racing Gangs stood around the balcony, watching the race taking place. Instead of cars however, a lot of the girls preferred bikes. Hana, or Moon as she was known by, stared intently down at the track, eyes narrowed as Okami, your top motorist pulled ahead of The Duchess, Seijoh Royal’s top biker. “He’s filthy. I’m surprised someone as pure as you isn’t tainted yet.” Hana’s words may have came off as harsh and cruel to those who didn’t know or understand her, but it was one of the most genuine things she had said in the past year you’ve known her. “Trust me… I’ve been tainted in more ways than one.. but I still love him. Even if I don’t know why.”
