He wasn't an extrovert by any means, and he tended to be less friendly towards the other students, but Lettie was surely different! With the amount of time she spent at Pomefiore in her free time didn't go unnoticed!

She was a friendly face in a school full of angry cross-dorm relations-but even so, he hoped he wasn't being too energetic.

❝ How's your day been? Hopefully not too stressful-but I wouldn't know, I'm still just a freshman, haha! I'm sure the classes are probably harder the further you get-but that's the fun part, right? ❞ He rambled, before stopping and taking a step back. ❝ Not that you need to tell me any of that, of course...! ❞

"Well, aren't you just the kindest. Really taking after the headmage, I see."

There's a pause, and suddenly, she chuckles- fighting back the urge to wince at the pain shooting through her cheek.

"Sorry, sorry. I was trying to be funny."

There's a brief attempt of a half smile as she takes the blanket out of their hands. "Thanks," she mutters, wrapping it around her shoulders. "You didn't need to bring it to me...but I appreciate it."

" What a peculiar curse you have placed on you… " the fae prince noted as he observed the young woman. Ramshackle Dorm was one of Malleus's favorite locations to visit on his nightly walks, so he had become relatively familiar with the inhabitants of the dorm. They were each peculiar in their own way, but Malleus was curious about the threads of magic woven around this girl.

Ah, right... Humans could not see such magic.

Malleus took a step closer, inspecting Lettie. " Powerful magic at that... Who placed this spell on you? "

He’s back at Ramshackle.

Back at the familiar floorboards she’s so used to.

Brown eyes stare at the similarly-colored floorboards, water dripping down from the Prefect’s entire body, staining the wood. His nails dig into the planks, sure to create indents in them.

Where am I?

Prathamik never thought of a familiar place feeling so wrong.

She snaps her head up, and immediately catches sight of the other person standing across the room.

Who-?

He doesn’t recognize them. She doesn’t know who they are- did they come to do something to the dorm? Did they come to mess it up?

What’s going on?

Prathamik was just trying to get somewhere with the mirror, and then- how is he back at?? Ramshackle Dorm?? It doesn’t even feel like Ramshackle- his Ramshackle.

Something starts to embed itself in her bones, and all the Prefect can choke out is a small ‘who?’ to the other.

“Mama...” 

SHE HAD BEEN CONTEMPLATING asking this question for a long time. It had been break time so she was home with her Mama in Passion for the first time in a while, wanting to bring up something for a while now. She just never really gotten around since she was the heir position plus starting at NRC. She was older, much more mature now.

“Is it okay if I ask you something? It’s okay if you don’t wanna go into detail about it, but it’s something I want to know. So long as you’re ready.” She doesn’t want to push her mother on this topic too much, but Serenity longed to know about the father she never had. What was he like? What did he do? How did they meet? So many questions went into her mind, but she didn’t want to push her mother on this too much.

It was a little late for that, with him under the blot infested hand, the phantoms towering over her, the absolute rage radiating off her. Why should she let him in? She was a fake, a phony, what he had witnessed at school was nothing but a well constructed lie, apparently. She was no one, there was nothing for him to see.

There was nothing for him to love.

Let lets out a loud howling laugh as she presses him further into the ground, ignoring his gasps for air, his pleas to get her to stop. Despite the manic laughter, the look in her eyes, the fact that her phantoms are absolutely beating the hell out of everyone.....she was crying, tears running down her cheeks.

End the life to make the pain stop. Push them away, they only care for the ‘you’ they thought was real, they would never care for ‘you’ now.

Cause hurt to make the hurt stop. MAKE IT STOP!
