Student B: A squirrel.
Intervention Teacher: WAIT what?

Student B: Squ-irrel.
Intervention teacher: No. A squirrel is a little furry animal. This is a shape and it is called at square.
Student B: [shrugs]

Me: "Okay, you need to give them clues about what your share is."
Student B, to class: "Okay, what is it?"
Me: "No, you need to give them clues about what it looks like."
Student B, to class: "Okay, what does it look like?"
Me: "No! You have to tell them what it looks like, they don't know! Like, tell them what color it is."
Student B, to class: "Okay, what color is it?"
Me: "Student B! They don't know, you have to say my share is....and then the color!"
Student B, to class: "Okay. It is blue and it has turtles and some more turtles."
Me: "Okay good. Who would like to guess what it is?"
Other Student, thinking: "Is it....."
Student B: "Is it a watch? Yes, it is!"
Me: *rolls eyes and sighs* "Student B, you were supposed to let someone guess."
Student B: "Well it is a watch!"
