🏗Project: Bodrum Chamber of Commerce Service Building @bodto48 📐Architect: Stüdyo501 Architecture @studyo501 📏Project Team: Cenk Çeşmeli @cenkcesmeli , Müge Erkılıç Çeşmeli @mugeerkilic 📍Location: Bodrum, Muğla, Turkey 🌇Type: Public 📅Year: 2005-2017 ⚒Area: 1.800 m² 📸Photos: studyo501.com @studyo501 〰️〰️〰️ 📘Information: The shell system, consisting of precast concrete exterior panels recommended for the outer wall of the building, has been created within the framework of 4 main purposes such as symbolism, integrating the indoor-outdoor relationship, efficient use of light and temperature control. The proposed façade system has been handled in a simple and modern way, without damaging the traditional architectural typology of Bodrum, and the occupancy gaps are adjusted based on the needs of the interior, and it has been constructed in a way that will create an identity integrity throughout the building. Besides, considering the climatic conditions of Bodrum, air circulation and shade factor gain importance both in indoor and outdoor areas. The elements located horizontally on the roof from the proposed exterior panels were kept deep and thus, shading was provided to create comfortable spaces for outdoor users and to reduce the cooling costs indoors.
