tagged by @stealthflower and @tadpole-apocalypse who are both extremely rad to make a list of my top 25 favorite games using this maker thingy. Um, I did my best, but I've played a LOT of games, so bear with me. Some of this shit old.
thanks for tagging me! I really thought about this, and it was fun to think about. IDK if there's much to explain. I organized them by my criteria for deciding what a top game was: nostalgia, art, gameness, and personal cultural impact.
the top row is high on nostalgia, art, and personal cultural impact, but the gameness varies WIDELY.
row two is some of the earliest games I played and loved, some of which I have actually played recently, if you can believe it. Lol.
row three is the row of recency bias? but also good games.
row four is games associated with so many lovely memories <3
row five is me choosing not to explain why THESE are my favorite of these series because I hate fights, lol.
Last game is the game that saves my ass on the daily for keeping track of my writing and life. lol.
