[DAY 3] Stydia + Favorite little details about any scene

What I love about this scene is how Scott steps out of the frame, which was so clever because now it seems like Stiles and Lydia are the only ones there. Like they're in their own little world, revolving around each other and only focused on each other. It's such a shory shot, but it perfectly captures how careful and soft Stiles is with Lydia. Lydia just meets his eye, a little dazed, but also so fond and soft. No one ever talks about this scene whilst it's one of the most simple and emotional scenes of their journey. Also how there's just one bright light hitting them... Ethereal.

Lydia really wishes she could say that she still wasn’t used to being woken up abruptly in the middle of the night, but that would be a lie.

The truth is that she has become alarmingly accustomed to being woken up abruptly in the middle of the night, and it is the fault of one singular person. That said, she is slightly thankful that her current lack of sleep is due to him rather than actual supernatural catastrophes. And it’s not like she needs to pay a lot of attention in school anyways. They’re doing integration by parts in calculus class, for god’s sake. She taught herself that when she was thirteen.
