*sigh* Valentine's. The first commercialised date of the calendar. Whereby there is an expectation socially for us all to jump on the bandwagon of 'love' with millions of other consumers just because it's 'valentines day'. Do we even know why we 'celebrate Vslentine's day' any more.. Just like Easter and Christmas the true meaning has been lost and forgotten as Commercialism has taken over.. Today has become a time for the retailer to dictate the expectation that you should spend obscene amounts of money to make the day feel romantic. As well as expressing your love via overpriced romantic gestures and showing the one you love just how much they mean to you... Last time I checked, there are 364 other days in the year.. Surely they're all just as important?! You should say 'Good Morning', You're beautiful', 'I adore you' and 'I love you' every single day...
