A little study on Jun!! I had no idea his eyes were purple until I was doing this and color picking to figure out if I was seeing things correctly or not, hahaha

Jun strikes me as someone who's in deep denial of how miserable he is, and I love that.

You can't mindfulness your way out of misery bud, the minute you stop focusing on your breathing it's baaaaack!~

He so desperately wants things to be OK that he needs everyone to buy in and pretend with him that Everything is Great.

I don't believe him about him loving the farmer either, I think he says the things he *wants* to be true. Not what is actually true. (It's not that it's impossible for him to truly love the farmer. But he needs to handle some of his issues before that can happen.)

It's telling also that he is one of the busier citizens of Sun Haven--he's a teacher *and* a counsellor and when he's not doing that, he has skilled hobbies like painting he fills his spare time with, and also wants to write too...sounds like someone using work+keeping busy to keep the badfeels at bay and avoid having to think about and process things. You can even misuse mindfulness and meditation to make them tools of avoidance, and I think he does that.
