Just some perspective
The death toll in France stands at around 132.
That's 132 people; moms, dads, sons, daughters (ect.)
That number may seem small to you, but to those affected families, just 1 death is detrimental.
So when you say you don't care about what's going on in France, just think of the call a mother has to receive with news her daughter/son was murdered when attending an Eagles Concert.
Now picture 131 more of those phone calls.
Some people aren't going to care until the death is at their doorstep, and that is really sad. Tragedies like these should bring people together, not cause conflict amongst who should be supporting whom. I'm tired of all these post about people should be praying for their hometown because people die every day. That is fine, but don't be insensitive about the deaths that have occurred just because the deaths in your area aren't being intensely publicized in the media.
