This next artist doesn't fall under the lettering category (please forgive me), however she does fall under the incredible watercolor surfy vibey category! If you followed along in our Stories on Wednesday, you learned that I love the surf, skate and snow cultures! If you missed it, you can view under the "About" Story Highlights. • I was struck by the originality of each composition and the way she uses the art of watercolor to create such unique surf pieces. And to my surprise, she's JUST GETTING STARTED! Her name is Matilde and she's a full-time "mum" from Italy. • She began teaching herself how to watercolor by watching YouTube videos during a low moment in her life about six years ago. She painted for a few months and then stopped everything until just a couple months ago when her Dad asked her to do a painting for the cover of his book.
